That's such a great scarf to start Gigi;the colours are young and vibrant , the design classic with a very modern vibe and it's totally Hermès .Congratulations!

My advice is wear it and wear it, don't save it for best ,because these things are made to last .

I am thinking of Robe de soir in cw 3, the hot pink version as a head scarf for the summer, and also because I don't have a pink scarf yet.. your thoughts?

I've such admiration for Robe du Soir , the design seems simple but the detail is incredible.

A fuchsia perfect headscarf I'd say , hope you get it!

I know this looks beautiful on you! My DH surprised me with 06 on Valentine’s Day. I love that it can be dresseddown with jeans and a white shirt or worn dressy with a royal blue or black dress. I’m so honored to be twins with you, and I think we are quintuplets with others here.

Dear Ladybaga I'm so happy we're twins , your choices are always lovely. I have that vision of you in blue fur with blue JQ CSQM forever in my mind , so I know you'll look adorable in 06 !

I surprised myself by passing on 05 yesterday .
I'd tried it before and was determined to seize one, but the lighting in NBS made me uncertain , and when 06 was produced it was apparent that it was THE one .
I just adore the delicacy of the line drawings  in this one and for me the blue is a warm blue .
I think it will be more versatile for me than 05 which pulls as more glamorous and eye catching as opposed to 06 which is more discreet.
The silks didn't work for me but I love these CSGMs and am thrilled.
Thank you to my H friends who added to the H mischief is making the decision !
I struggled with the twills too. The GMs work for me almost too well as I have cw 07 and cw 05 is on hold. Congrats on your beautiful new shawl, we're fortunate to have the opportunity to try these beauties irl.

I think it's a good choice for summer -- the simple(r) design and blocks of colour will look pretty when worn as a head scarf. I'm also thinking of getting something in pink this season. The pink Jeu de Omnibus Remix is tempting!

Twins! Isn’t this shawl just amazing? I love how your styled it! [emoji170][emoji170]

Gorgeous! The colors are so vibrant [emoji813]️[emoji813]️

Yay! We are twins my dear frou frou! The colors on CW worked for me too! Very subtle yet so pretty![emoji170][emoji170]

The colors are amazing on this! Congrats my dear on a beautiful cw of this amazing design [emoji813]️[emoji813]️
Many thanks, dear eternal!

Croisette,
This is exquisite!!! So beautiful!!!
Thank you kindly, dear Ladybaga! Waiting for your modpic ... if possible?

After having lots of fun browsing the new collection in the boutique this Saturday, I ended up leaving with a 90cm Robe de Soir. The next morning, I found I couldn't stop thinking about the Samourais shawl in cw06, and marched back in to collect one of those too. I love how @Langsam described it as "moonlit glow." What made this colorway irresistible to me is the way that the cherry blossoms are rendered-- they remind me of seeing cherry blossoms at twilight along the river in Tokyo.

I find this colorway frustrating to photograph; in my pictures it looks flat and somewhat dull. It's neither in real life! Other TPFers have done it much more justice, but I add a couple photos anyway just because I love to see as many different tying possibilities as I can when I'm using this thread to plot purchases

The Robe du Soir 90cm ties so beautifully, and I love this coloration with its mixture of blues, slate grey, taupe, pops of white, and a caramel hem. However, it might not be a keeper for me. @frou frou mentioned upthread that some scarves from recent years aren't saturated on the back, and this is one of them. I find the "blank" back irritating; it means I have to fuss with my scarf more than I'd like to prevent the luminous front side from being abruptly interrupted by its matte white reverse. I know from experience that the way I tie my scarves means I won't pick up scarves that aren't saturated on the reverse. Exhibits A and B in the form of two colorways of the Samourais 90cm are sitting in my closet as evidence, having never made it out of their boxes because of their unsaturated reverses. So I had better be stern with myself and not accumulate a third such scarf just to have it gather dust!

But it's a gorgeous colorway and someone who ties differently will loooooove it.

Both are gorgeous choices and I am twins with you on the Samourais CW 06. This is such an elegant CW.
While I love the colors in your RdS scarf, the unsaturated back side would frustrate me as well.

The Robe de Soir design is killing me. There are so many cws I want! This one is lovely! I'm sorry it doesn't seem functional for you due to the lack of saturation on the back.

Congrats on your first H scarf! And welcome!

Any sign of mousseline yet?

I've only seen a couple of them posted briefly online, but there have been some in the boutiques. You may want to read through the current discussion in the moussie thread:
