Newest addition to my collection, Les Voitures a Transformation bandana. A great basic that will get a ton of wear. It's a pretty silvery gray. My first bandana, I'm so pleased with it!View attachment 3961114
This is really beautiful! The pearl grey is spectacular with your lovely complexion. I wish I could wear this grey so freely as you. I have very few light grey scarves that are balanced with jewel toned colored tops. I bought Grand Prix in the green and pink colorway. The grey in it is challenging, but if I pair it with a jewel toned green or darker pink, it works.
You look so prettttttttyyyyyyyyyyy!

Thank you everyone for your likes and kind comments! @Ladybaga, I wish I could rock all the warm and rich colors that you can. It's all good though. We all have our own sweet spots for colors!

I love the Samurai design! Got the shawl in blue/grey but was also very tempted by the dark/very vibrant blue panther.

I've got no idea how you ladies know all these things: what is a CW? And all these numbers: 05, 06 etc.? What does that mean? Is there a post explaining it? Could somebody please point me in the right direction to read about it? It would be much appreciated!

In my case, when it comes to silk scarfs and cashmeer shawls, I basically just go into the store and try things on  I am really amazed at how many colours and work go into some of these designs!
Welcome to this H scarf thread, MaryAndDogs! Happy that you are joining us here.

CW is short for "colourway" - it refers to 3 (dominant) colours that Hermès uses on each scarf or shawl design. The numbers correspond to a particular set of scarf or shawl colours. And these cw numbers are found on the Hermès website, on the paper tags attached to scarves and in your receipt -- you can check the ones you have, e.g. your Samouraïs cashmere silk GM (CSGM) shawl is cw 06. It's a quick way for scarfies here to identify which scarf they are talking about specifically.

Edited to add: @Ladybaga explained it better! :flowers:

WeN84....WOW! You always post the most gorgeous modeling shots! Thank you! I love these on you. I have been dying to see the yellow. Did these all come home with you??? Congrats!
Very enabling photos, as usual, weN84! Did you get all 3?

Thank you for your kind words! :ty: :flowers: None came home with me. Still waiting to see Samouraï in 01 and 05 (which @hopiko already have!!) Just thought I'll share mod shots for it as it's been a torture waiting for these to arrive, a painful slow drip! Nothing like mod shots to enable and help one decide. ;)

FYI for anyone interested, I found this link that shows engravings used in Della Cavalleria:
https://bildsuche.digitale-sammlung...nummer=bsb00094318&pimage=196&v=100&nav=&l=ru . You can scroll the pages and find images used on the scarf.

I had pointed out a critter on the scarf in a previous post as a rat - but it looks to be a bear instead. I apologize if that turned anyone off this beautiful design.

Must be so wonderful to be an H scarf designer, do your research and see what inspires you. :girlsigh:

Glad it's a bear! It looked too fierce to be a rat critter anyway. Great detective work, Susan!
