HI....picked up the royal blue jaguar which I think has been posted but got cw 03 -turquoise/vert/rose yesterday..I am not certain if this has been posted yet...i broke my rule of repeat patterns...I couldn’t help it.....one was a b-day gift, the other a “had to have!”

I love them both!! They look beautiful!! Congratulations! I think that breaking your rule in this instance is worth it.

I haven't seen much of the Jeu de Cartes 90cms. I was interested in this one because my husband loves poker and I thought it would be a fun scarf to where for fun casino nights out but it doesn't seem to be too popular. Has anyone been able to try them on? Any thoughts? I was eyeing the marine/blanc/petrole one.

I just bought this CW and love it. I'll try to do a photo this weekend.

I'm probably out of sequence with the 2018 color discussion but I always thought quetsche was a brown with purple (purplish?) undertones. At least that's how the leather was described on tpf a while back.

So where's the brown tones on some of these scarves? I just don't see it.

Exactly. So I think we decided that the additional color (the first one) listed on the website is erroneous on the part of someone who wasn't aware of the color families that they are using this season. We believe QC on the tag really stands for Quadrichomie, one of the color families, and that "quetsche" as listed on the website should have been just QC. Same for ME = Mediterranee NOT menthe, which is H mint (like the leaf, not mint chocolate chip ice cream), and which can't be found in most, if not all, of the scarves that list menthe as the first color. Sorry, I hope I didn't make it more complicated. Here's an example:

On the website, it said this:
Jeu de Cartes cw 01 quetsche/bleu glacier/rouge/noir.
It really should have said:
QC/bleu glacier/rouge/noir with QC standing for Quadrichromie.

Or even better: Tout en Carre Tattoo (which has only two colors) 15 menthe/bleu noir/blanc - there is no menthe whatsoever. It should have been ME/bleu noir/blanc with ME standing for Mediterranee.

I have the Brode 90cm (a cherished holiday gift from DH)

Even without the beading it’s an elegant colorway -
I look a lot of photos just to share
The beading is done in two colors of grey (silver) a dark and light grey View attachment 3947078

Thrilled to be your twin, TT. This design in this cw was #1 on my list for this season. When my SA brought it out a few weeks ago, "just to share," I took one look and knew it had to come home with me. The varying shades of blue and gray can really be seen in natural sunlight.

I also love how it's beautifully finished on the back:
