Overall, the I feel the emeraude background doesn't go well with the rest of the colors on the Samourai cw 12. Something just doesn't look right. My eyes were drawn towards cw 07 instead. I hope this helps for those who are trying to decide, since this doesn't have a stock pic (though we know how accurate that is anyway!).

Thanks for the modelling picture! This cw reminds me a bit of the silk cw4 previously, without the vert emeraude & orange tassle. I agree with you, though its a nice pop of color, the contrast is it a bit too strong with the rest of the pastel colors. Or maybe thats what they are trying to achieve?

I think the Samourai 12 is also off kilter: it would suit a Summer color8ng person( blonde or pale complexion.).the pops of green and orange are what thriws off the balance a bit. Especially the orange. If the were slightly more muted, it would be a richer coloration. Plus there is a lot of yellows in this colorway. Tough on certain skin tones. My two cents anyway. Super helpful to see this one though.

I agree with y'all. I don't actually object with green and orange together, but not with those pastels. All the color contrast is concentrated in that one spot, instead of being spread around. In CW 7 you get alternating contrasts of light to dark, and alternating saturated colors, but in CW 12 it all appears to be contrast in one spot and lots of pastels everywhere else....

I jumped on it when it hit the website, and picked it up Saturday, but didn't have time to open the box until this morning. The blue is hardly differentiated from the black - it's that navy where you get your purchase outside the store into sunlight and say, argh, it's not black after all!

I'm not anti-black (former goth here) and the braiding is still pretty. But how did I find the one H scarf where the stock photo is miles prettier than the real thing?

I'll try to get a picture tonight and see if it's growing on me. And this is, you know, Luxus-Problem. But I'm so disappointed.

I have hesitated between these 2 and chosen finally 01. I prefer the high contrast of the natural jaguar print and the vegetation. On 07, the jaguar print is based on pink shades. The general effect is more muted IMO.
