Scarves The Hermès Spring Summer 2018 Scarves

I'm puzzled by something and would appreciate your insight. It seems like we aren't supposed to ask about the new releases, that it would send the wrong signal to SAs or indicate that information was released about the scarves that shouldn't have been. How, then, does the casual customer (not an experienced collector) gather information about the upcoming release?

Feel free to let me know if this question isn't appropriate for this thread. I'm just enjoying learning!

It doesn't hurt to ask an SA "What are you excited about in the coming season?" But really, they know less than we do.

Ohhh, I really want to have more intel on the upcoming scarves so I can start editing my wishlist, the first of my funds have been set aside! Especially love the excitement when the h.com pics are posted here like the last two seasons! Seeing all the designs and CWs is fantastic and helps me narrow down my choices. (All that was needed for this was a reference-number and a few of those were posted earlier in the pics from the orderbook, hope we get to see them soon? Anyone?)

Probably the arrival of the new season in the boutiques isn’t too far away for some of you: the first purchase of a scarf a year ago was posted on the 3rd of December. And they were available online on the US-site on the 6th of December! Sadly, I’m EU-based and they were available online a full two weeks later, on the 21st of December and when I was in the boutique just before Christmas nothing new was up for purchase, not until January!

But this is my current wishlist, based on what I have heard or seen so far:
1. Le Grand Prix du Faubourg by Ugo Gattoni 90cm, probably want the black&white, anyway a musthave;
2. Jaguar Quetzal by Alice Shirley CSGM, in a blue or purple CW, or a black&white would be great too;
3. Horsehead (Robe du Soir??) 90 cm, really like the CW with the white background that was shown on H IG;
4. The “mechanical” horsehead men’s scarf by Octave Marsal, like the white/blue CW, but it would be great in a really dark colour too;
5. Wildcard: the men’s scarf that I think might be by Elias Kafouros, looks like a 100cm? Need to see more of it, but I love a whimsical design and this could possibly end up near the top of my wishlist!
Furthermore, like the Jardin Lettré, Etude pour un Iris Arc-en-ciel and Panthera Pardus. Just started buying H a year ago, but haven’t liked nearly as much as this season, the SA I spoke to a couple of months ago was right, it is going to be wonderful! And what about the ones we haven’t even seen yet?
It all depends on the CWs and, of course, my budget as I unfortunately do not have unlimited funds.

Would like to know what all of you are planning on purchasing too, please share!

I am looking forward to the Panthera 140 as I have done nothing but bemoan the fact that I only purchased it in a gavroche. I love it so much.

Twins on (nearly) your entire wish-list Angelian (with the exception of of the Jaguar which doesn't really appeal to me)! Been stalking my local stores since I was also hinted how "fabulous" the new collection would be and intel started appearing on here. Dangerous game as I always find it difficult to walk out empty handed. Planning on doing the same in my home town in France when I go over for the Xmas/NYE period in a few weeks time. No choice: my family will have to do with smaller presents this year. Must look after #1 !!

I saw, lovely but I think I'm going through a red phase ATM ha ha. Now if they'll have a purple....

I couldn't make the design work for me on the 140 variation a few seasons ago (date?). There are def some classic designs I've always wanted, get so excited when they come along as reissues and so upset when for some reason don't work. So I'm knitting my thought patterns and thinking possibly a smaller size will be the answer.

Then you are so lucky it is being reissued as a giant silk relatively soon after the initial ones! I have not seen it IRL (because: newbie), but I absolutely love the CSGM with grey background and the blue panther! Those spots combined with those grassy parts that show when worn in the modeling pic on h.com give me hope I will love the Jaguar Quetzal CSGM.

It's about time H produced another real pussycat scarf . Cave felem doesn't interest me , but a more modern cat , domestic, preferably tuxedo …please Hermès in 2019!

I have my own little tigers too, I always think of them when when I wear Les Tigreaux but now they're older they're more TR majestic.
