Ladybaga, the colors are beautiful on you. I chose the same cw in Sea, Surf and Fun (cw 13). The color combination is stunning.View attachment 3935971 View attachment 3935972 View attachment 3935971 View attachment 3935972 View attachment 3935973 View attachment 3935974 View attachment 3935975 View attachment 3935976
Ms. Lowlands, This is stunning on you! I love the variety of ways you tied this magnificent piece. I love greens so much and am excited about the greens showcased in so many scarves this season. Have fun with your new scarf, and thank you for the complement on mine!

TankerToad, I am in love with your gloves and matching scarves! I know these will look amazing on you!
Thank you for your sweet complement on my parlor of birds scarf. Funny that you mentioned chocolate..... I just bought a dozen milk chocolate covered caramels at See's the day after I purchased this! Ha! (I really need to start that workout, soon.) Hope you are doing well my friend!

I don't have any bags right now to show this, but for me the best example would be something like malachite, which is gorgeous, but if green goes near my face it puts a greenish cast on me. Blue paon is probably not my friend, either...but how I L[emoji173]️VE that color!!!!

ETA next time I go to VCA I will try on a malachite necklace to show you [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
But you do wear Turquoise well and that is somewhat like Paon?

You look radiant dear LB! Beautiful choice for you!
This MdOP cw is wonderful, Ladybaga! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Wow! You look amazing!

I absolutely love these colors on you. Perfection!!

Beautiful and wonderful browns. Do you remember our lament of the lack of brown cardigans/sweaters? You look radiant with this scarf.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my scarf! Maedi, I remember when we were both searching for brown sweaters! I finally found two about three years ago. (I should have bought three of each to ensure that I would always have one! Confessions of a brown sweater hoarder....) Texasgirliegirl, we need to get together soon! It was nice seeing you in the parking lot yesterday! I hope everyone is having a nice day!

Absolutely gorgeous Ladybaga!!! You radiate so much warmth, your smile always makes me smile! This scarf was absolutely meant for you!

Thank you BBC! I am giddy with green scarves this season!

This is a great example of Hermes expertise in colours and yours on choosing the perfect scarf to suit you. You look radiant and stunning! I do not understand why people say they don't do the same for bags. No doubt they aren't carried near the face but colours which flatter in one's clothes and accessories should therefore sync with bags as well?

Thank you periogirl! I love all shades of green. (Keeping my fingers crossed for a bag in vert vertigo. I missed out on Vert Bengale, Bamboo, and Malachite, so I let me sweet SA know my wish.) I have found that pastel green may not be my best friend, but what I do is pair it with a stronger background which seems to work for me. If the scarf is primarily pastel, I will wear a darker/complementary colored blouse or dress to off-set a "not so flattering" scarf color on me.
I have been experimenting with my light pink/green/gris pearl Grand Prix and discovered that if I wear a kelly green colored top or stronger pink, it works. I was very hesitant on buying this fun scarf because of the gray. Light gray doesn't do me any favors, but I was intrigued by the details of the statues. It is interesting to experiment with what I already have in my closet. I like your comment about bags. I love not having to think too hard about coordinating bags with scarves. As of today, I counted that I have 55 of my scarves that have green in them, as well as 8 of my shawls. I think I can easily justify a vert vertigo bag based on that alone.:p

My (probably) one and only scarf from this season: JQ cw #11. This was part of a quick scarf tying session. I am so poorly that I forgot to change into a nicer jumper! Ah well, I will try again if I have any signs of feeling stronger and will post a proper Scarf of the Moment on my blog (I do them for all of my scarves).

I am currently growing out my grey hair. Finally decided to do it now I am in my 60s. Now, I need to reassess my wardrobe. Unlike you, Ladybaga, I think I will have to get rid of anything brown! I am hoping that this purple colourway will work with the new version of me. I think I will be fully grey by April - hope so, because my hair looks very odd at the moment :whut:.

I said that this will probably be my only scarf, in fact that might be definitely  . DH finally worked out the value of my small collection and was so shocked that I have been banned from buying any more!:sad::sad: This might even be permanent :crybaby: .
