I picked this up yesterday. Love it - a men's scarf with lots of colour & amazingly intricate design. Fashion shots:

I gasped. This is stunning on you. I'm sold. Now I believe I need it. You modeled so well!

View attachment 3935570 Not sure if cw 8 has been shown of Maison de Oiseaux Parleurs but here is one of my newest treasures.
This is a great example of Hermes expertise in colours and yours on choosing the perfect scarf to suit you. You look radiant and stunning! I do not understand why people say they don't do the same for bags. No doubt they aren't carried near the face but colours which flatter in one's clothes and accessories should therefore sync with bags as well?

I agree in general, however, sometimes there are colors that we LOVE but just don't look good near the face. Some of my favorite H colors don't do me any favors....another reason for me to love the larger formats so those corner colors aren't too close to me and can pull some desired shades into my wardrobe. And if you dress in neutrals you can carry pretty much any color bag. I'd say your suggestion is the ideal, though.

Agree completely with this. I have my colors that I know work for me. My scarves jewelry and bags draw on these colors. The colors work well to mix and match. And they are the colors that I love. It makes shopping and getting dressed so much easier.

It's always fantastic to have an alternative viewpoint. That is interesting, I've never carried a bag in a colour I know will not work for me, but strangely I don't love colours like those either. I will look for real life examples of this, in the wild. :flowers:

I don't have any bags right now to show this, but for me the best example would be something like malachite, which is gorgeous, but if green goes near my face it puts a greenish cast on me. Blue paon is probably not my friend, either...but how I L[emoji173]️VE that color!!!!

ETA next time I go to VCA I will try on a malachite necklace to show you [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
