That is the one scarf I'm really waiting for this season. I fell in love with it once I saw it. The colors are gorgeous. My store hasn't received it yet either but I talked with my SA about it and he knew that I would want it and requested it, so I'm waiting patiently. I'm probably out of sequence with the 2018 color discussion but I always thought quetsche was a brown with purple (purplish?) undertones. At least that's how the leather was described on tpf a while back.

So where's the brown tones on some of these scarves? I just don't see it.

It looks like a quetsche in French is a type of plum, so dark purple, but dark purple and quadrichome (4 colors). But Menthe and Mediterranee aren't the same thing either so it is super confusing.

I find it terribly confusing - the codes can be interpreted in 2 ways, for the most part
DJ = Dans un Jardin, surely
ME = Mediterranee (family) or Menthe (color)
PU = Purplish (family)
QU = Quetsch (plum color ) or Quadrichrome (family name)
VE = Vert (green color) or Veggie (family name)
You would think that at least one good SA would have explained this to someone, who might have reported it here

H could use Pantone color codes but that might be problematic, too. Plus the unique color names in French give them a little leeway acknowledging the undertones or not.

In buying fabric I notice that brownish plums are called "fig." That seems to be a pretty accurate name b/c the color is neither purple nor brown.

Thanks so much for sharing this pic, I must have missed it the first time around. It is stunning! Leaning heavily towards this cw, even thought I told my SA to keep me away from any more black/bleu noir/white combos as all four that I’ve bought in the last three months have been similar! I think this is sufficiently different!
