I know this thread has a lot of bougie suggestions, but just for fun...

The H of peanut butter is "Santa Cruz organic dark roasted peanut butter." I found it at Whole Foods. Make sure you don't get the "no-stir" kind because that one has palm oil. I can eat this for the rest of my life and not get sick of it. It is just blended roasted peanuts and it is perfection.
It’s going on the list asap thank you

Just picked some up based on your recommendation. We’ll see if DH notices the change on his breakfast tartines.

Thank for the tip:smile:

I saw eyewear mentioned, and I would offer Matsuda as having the most elegant details and quality of any eyewear I have ever worn, which makes them the Hermes of eyewear for me. I don't purchase from many other brands anymore after I found them (though I still dabble in Rigards and Kuboraum occasionally - Rigards is a very nice brand but has a strong industrial meets vintage Japanese street vibe to it)

Well, just returned from my Paris trip & what greeted me one of the most delicious peanut butter
that I've tasted in a long time to go along with my Christine Ferber jams & other goodies brought home
from Paris
Yes, definitely this peanut butter is going into my holiday goodie gift basket.
Thanks @gogingercat for the tip!

Love Anichini. are they still in existence?
Absolutely & still with the most gorgeous linens, blankets & chock full of other items for ones home
The Melania linen fringe guest towels are divine & have a very interesting story behind them
as well as the Anichini waffle cashmere blankets
Loretta Caponi also ranks pretty high for interesting linens, JMO

Love Christine Ferber jams.
Oooh, I am glad Christine Ferber gets a mention here.
To me it’s the H of jams: artisanal methods producing great quality, delicious jams. Her jams let the fruits shine and not covered by sugar. We’re lucky to live an hour away from her shop and usually we go in autum to stock up. Tried going in winter once and the selection wasn’t as nice.

Best spread on french bread, topped with salted Bordier butter (which to me is the H of butter). It’s butter produced in a tiny Brittany town called Saint Malo. Texture (supposedly due to the butter being hand-paddled using wooden paddles? Not sure if it’s still true) and taste (from the rich local milk) are amazing.

Bordier butter is yummy, and available in the US!

The beautiful Oriente Italiano is also my absolute favourite tableware! Nothing beats it. And the real beauty is that you can mix and match all their different collections. I also love that they are not stuffy although super luxurious, they encourage you to use them as everyday plates... love it
Oriente Italiano takes its design from a famous heritage Maiolica design called Garofano which is produced in my hometown , so I think I’m going to get a custom made Garofano tableware set made by artisans there.
It is usually done in colors but I’m thinking of ordering it in black and white, maybe some hints of gold.

Hi everyone!

One of the things I have loved about shopping with Hermes is the quality and curation. It’s made me want to be more intentional about the quality and style of the other things in my life. Hermes is a lifestyle brand, so what other brands or items would you say pair nicely with Hermes?

Are there purchases you’ve made recently that, for whatever reason, made you say, “the is the Hermes of…”? Coffee, books, clothes, furniture, organizational tools? They don’t need to be luxury items per say, but rather items that are thoughtfully designed, made from high quality ingredients, and give you joy the way that Hermes does.
For me, brands that come to mind are Doen (clothes), Universelle Buly (perfume and personal care), and Lucchese (Cowboy Boots). I’d love to discuss!
Just discovered Officine Universelle Buly...Incredible old brand. I am in love !
