I noticed the thinness of the cashmere too. I sent back the navy and pink c/w, I like the design and format, but the colours just didn't like me. Good tip on washing it.Fabulous choice!! I know that feeling of intending to purchase X but coming out with Y all too well (as I’m sure is the case for many others here)
And yeah there has been discussions of a quality change in shawls in recent years; happy to hear that a wash made it up for you!

What a beautiful coloration. I am a bit jealous now as it goes so well with different greys and black. Mine is the blue which is harder to match.
I have been chasing my SA for this since the first time I saw it in this thread; the Eleftheria Rose Pâle/Bleu/Jaune (H003752S 02). Suddenly it showed up online, and now it's mine..... (and someday I need to find the patience to learn all your beautiful knots). The weather here is dark (as they said on the radio yesterday: "no one seems to have turned on the Sun today"), so pictures are taken indoors in hopeless light. Also, I see now, I was so excited to try it on, that I didn't get out of my old garden sweater.
I’ve been itching for another colorway! This design is so much fun!Scarf mail. The first of my two colorways of Rendez-Vous Chez Hermes scarf 70 arrived today. It came with an issue of The Daily Knot and a sample of H24 scent. This is CW04 in blanc/rouge/vert/multicolore. DH said it was a blue scarf, and the shade of blue is indeed gorgeous. There is far more orange in the design than red. Overall a colorful scarf.
I read one article in the newspaper to DH, which I found hilarious. He assures me that I will never find him secretly mowing the lawn while wearing a tie.
