GORGEOUS! You should wear this every day!!!! Congrats on this lovely cw!!!

Thanks Ladybaga!

It’s quite divine! None were at my boutique but perhaps after Labor Day. Not that I should be going in because I’m building a permanent structure on Ban Island

I still need to figure out what to wear with Eleftheria and am also thinking the Rendezvous and L’Epopee are quite similar in colorways - that may be my excuse to hop in the boutique next month because they may have other colorways and I could exchange if necessary. Or I could tie them together…

The whole day was an absolute delight! Standing invite for anyone visiting the Dallas area to ping me for a meet up. And LBK we could probably talk NOLA for hours! Mama Snausages grew up there so I have many fond childhood memories (most of my adult memories are related to the food)

I have learned the hard way that if I see anything I like to just pounce when I have the chance because it may be weeks before it shows up again. And even a good pounce isn’t a guarantee if others are faster in their carts with their credit cards.

I love this more with every knot you model!

It’s lovely and I didn’t realize until your close up that the hem is spotted! The tea time scarf ring has been online several times, and I could swear there’s a TT twilly in this colorway. I haven’t yet seen the black in the US but have been admiring it on the French website. Would pair nicely with the Clic Clac Au Pois in black/blue. #mustwinlottery

This is such a fun design and looks great on you! I can’t recall my boutique had this one in (they had the black which I believe is CW10 - loved it but reminded myself I have but one neck)

Excellent colors and pops so nicely with the dark top! I too am a beginning knotter and there are wonderful tutorials on tPF. Which reminds me I need to practice some this weekend. I find I never leave enough time in the morning to fumble through something new

Thank you my dear. :hugs:

Thank you for posting. Your modeling shot makes this looks unexpectedly becoming. It drapes beautifully and look as if it's relatively thin, whereas it appears to be the thickness of a wool blanket on the website.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! Wearing this more like a poncho and not so much like a shawl, is creating a bit of lightness.

Good evening, all. I have benefitted so much from everyone's beautiful mod shots and thoughtful comments! If I were to wade into CSGM territory (it would be my first one) would y'all recommend concentrating on something new like Bingata? I am attracted to Ombreille Magique and also Patchwork Horse (not new, I know, but seems so iconic). Then there is also The 12 Leopards/Bookcase shawl. I am definitely going for the Folklore triangle (waiting for the cws in boutique) that Bova has modeled for us. Buuut I did try on 140's in New Jersey and I loved the mousseline in that size and also the wash silk. So I am now feeling the rocks slide under my feet as I stare down the CSGM slope...Thanks in advance to all who care to weigh in!
To be clear: asking about Fall/Winter2021options only to stay on topic.

Snausages, is Dallas still by appt only? I was able to get in once to pick up a prepaid order, but I’m not by enough to know if the policy has changed. Thanks!

edited to keep on topic: I’m looking for an Eleftheria
They encourage appointments; if they are busy and you show up sans appointment you may be asked to form a queue outside which can be extremely uncomfortable if the weather is beastly. This was the sole Eleftheria - just the one in the one colorway. SA did not indicate what specifically would be coming in and when. She did indicate that the new season's goodies would likely not be replenished or augmented until September.

With something boutique-fresh you're guaranteeing you've tried the color and pattern to be sure it's "you". And it's a good excuse to check out all the other FW21 goodies! The benefit of going vintage is usually lower cost, and some would say a better quality of fabric. A word of caution from someone who said 'never' - the slope is steep and quite slick.

Thanks! I’ll try again to contact my unresponsive SA….and maybe check Houston for good measure!

Haven’t been enticed with purchasing a shawl in a while - but this Amazones CSGM just snared me!

This colorway is absolutely amazing!! congratulations!! If it were by chance in the boutique when I go then it was meant to be. But I am trying really hard not to get another cgsm. I do feel it’s too special of a cw to ignore.

I feel the same way - I really have been avoiding buying another silk but this colorway is pretty special !!! I hope you do find her ! Good luck !

Hi all
Just wanted to share my Dans Pacifique 90
(H003572S 07)

I just ❤❤❤ this… I’ve been waiting for a scarf with a feather design, since I was too late for the Plumes en Fete in a 90

I am still figuring out how to tie my scarf as elegantly, as you all do here, lovely ladies

thanks for letting me share

This is lovely, and you've tied it very well!

I too am waiting to see Ombrelle Magique, as well as Paisley Blossom, the new Aline Honoré CSGM. If you can go to a boutique to try on you may get your answer right away...but be forewarned the CSGM slope is indeed quite dangerous!!

I love everything about this...the shoes, the shawl, the bag, your lovely smile!! Congratulations!

Agree on the multiple CW wins on this one. I unintentionally picked up 10 after falling in love with it IRL at my store. As I mentioned before, GTN was not even on my radar (I had gone to check out both sizes of Bingata). They had 5 of the GTN CWs in store (all but the rose/beige, I think). I went back the very next week and they didn’t have a single one left in stock! This was definitely the sleeper hit of the season, I think.

I agree, I was the same.

I have to tie my hands behind my back not to buy another.

My secret?…..CSGMs are my true love….my obsession. You must give one a try!

Well the Zebra Pegasus triangle arrived. I agree with an earlier post regarding the weight of the cashmere/silk. This new one
is thinner than my La Clairere. Here's some pics for those of you considering it.

This is gorgeous. The feathers on these ZP triangles are just amazing. Thanks for the photos and congratulations on a real beauty.
Here are a few more mod shots of the dark blue Bingata shawl. I also took two of the front and back of one corner, I find the subtle visual difference in the accents interesting (can see in the “bingata” and outline of the person). This is my first csgm, I always thought this size would be too big for me, but it will definitely not be my last!!

I hope this helps you in your decision, and thank you for letting me share—

Simply beautiful-- this is the cw I am contemplating for a Bingata also. They did not have it in the boutique yet and I realy want to follow everyone's advice and try it on but thank you so much for your photos. I too am a CSGM newbie and feeling very tentative about taking the plunge. Congratulations @hazelnut!
Earlier this week I was lucky enough to go to H with @Snausages and find my favorite cw of Grand Théâtre Nouveau. The light is awful today, but too excited not to share. And here it is!

Wonderful! Congratulations @Pirula-- I think you are correct about this design. I fell hard right away. Happy to be sisters!

Thank you for these lovely photos @amacasa -- this is a SPECTACULAR cw. I have it on my "to try" list despite owning two 90s of this design. Congratulations!

Thank you @Snausages. For the encouragement, advice and warning. I can feel the bottoms of my shoes slipping...Nice to know of your NOLA connection, too. I hope we can have a scarfie date when I am back down in LA. Now I know where your affinity for glam and glitter comes from :winkiss:

Thank you so much @Bova123-- I forgot to mention the Aline Honore but that is on my list also. I loved your modeling shots of Folklore (waiting to try that cw and one other) and will be eager to see where you land on the CSGMs this season!
I agree, I was the same.
I have to tie my hands behind my back not to buy another.
This is a really amusing visual-- I am picturing a row of scarfies leaning over the counter with their hands all tied behind their backs as the SAs unfold silk after silk. Thanks for the chuckle @papertiger!
My secret?…..CSGMs are my true love….my obsession. You must give one a try!
I followed @momasaurus' advice and tried on three 140s in the boutique-- wasn't ready to commit on the CSGM (very limited selection) but ended up with a mousseline and a wash scarf! So I can see it is perilous already and your beautiful collex will undoubtedly offer as much inspira er, enablement as always...Have you bought one this season? If so, can't wait to see!
