From where did you purchase, please?
Did they have the more sepia/rouge toned one?
Sorry I do not live close to any store so no way to know what the stores received. I just emailed my SA in CA the press day picture and they happened to have the exact same one. The sepia/rouge one seems to be 02, I may be wrong. You can call the stores or h.com to see if any store received it.

I am happy to say that I got my hands on a Cite
After drooling over 92 pages, finally got my first scarf mail of the season. Foresee many coming... La Cite Cavaliere in CW11 Ciel/Cream/Rouge. Love it!

Congrats, this cw is lovely. We are cousins - I got the bright orange/pink one yesterday! Haven’t been so excited about a new scarf in awhile. I had just seen the red/creme one a few days before. Love the pattern, but wanted more punchy colors, which I ended up with! Seems they are drifting in one by one and are getting snatched up immediately...mine was buried in a drawer, even though there were no others in the display case. Hope you enjoy yours!!

This design is fascinating. I wonder if there is other « real » monuments besides Notre-Dame. I can spot some castles on the left upper corner that could be la Bastille and château de Vincennes. I enjoy this reinterpretation of old maps. I wish they have had some streets name, that would have been fun.
I suppose it ties well, isn’t it?

I haven’t looked mine over too carefully yet, but have spotted both Notre Dame and 24 Fbg - LOL!!

Just for fun, I guess the Cité cavalière is inspired by le Plan de Turgot, a famous 18th century map of Paris drawn with the Perspective cavalière technique. Here is a general view and a close-up on Notre-Dame

Thank you for sharing this! I got my first Cite Cavaliere yesterday and agree that the details of the buildings on the scarf look very much like this map. So glad to know about this!!

@papertiger It is definitely not colourful, I'd say approximately 5-6 colours including the natural background (orange - hem, natural, black, H gold/camel, brown, and then possibly another brown or it is the same one but just the concentration in the picture makes it look darker). That's it.

Exactly as @nymeria mentions, it is warmer IRL than the original H pictures let on. I would, however, say that it falls in the neutral to warm category. It is very easy to wear if these colours suit you...Acte III is a busy design so some may be put off by it. This CW, imo, makes it very wearable for many.

For those who asked for modeling pics, here are a few - they're all "quick and dirty". It's so hot, I just couldn't and, to be fair, this also means that I didn't take the time to make sure the knots looked good, which goes to show how good of a scarf it is! @LadyCupid was first with some - ( https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...er-2019-scarves.1009526/page-61#post-33178156 ) - I specifically stuck to some different looks to highlight other parts of the scarf:

Colours in photos are pretty close to real life (at least on my monitor)

You look great! I especially appreciate your changing the fold up before you drape and knot it, so we can see the different aspects of the scarf and its design. One way has the tiger and the more intricate and fine lines, another the larger areas of caramel and beige.
Now I need to go practice!! Thanks so much-happy to be your scarf twin!

Busiest scarf is Into the Canadian Wild, shortly to be ‘re-homed’. I think Alice Shirley is fantastic and I love the ‘picture’ of this scarf but for me it’s a hard one to wear.

Don’t tell anybody but I don’t wear Annie Faivre either, despite being a great admirer of her art.
What are you eyeing for this season?

Thank you for these photos! I just ordered this so hopefully it will suit my skin tones. Looks beautiful on you♥️

I love Jan B and his work! Lots of detail and movement and color makes a scarf interesting, but not busy or flat to me. Animapolis has 40 colors! That blows me away, no wonder a piece takes two years from finished art to store. For me it comes down to appreciating every single artist H engages, as I work with creative artists and understand a great deal about their process, dream lives, and humanness. Even with the scarves or artist’s work I really don’t like or wouldn’t buy, my underlying respect for the artist and their work shines through when I look at each piece. I’m so glad H focuses so much on scarves. I feel particularly blessed to love these magnificent silky pieces of art and even to own a fair number and the best part is we each get to buy and wear exactly what appeals to us in the colors and patterns and formats that sing to each one of us - no matter what anyone else thinks!! My goodness if H only made a certain few kind of scarves very similar each season what ever would we spend all our time doing instead of stalking for intel here!:P

Now back to Fall Winter 19!! I’m blown away by so many pieces this season, and I fear as Ladybaga does that drawer space for orange boxes is not going to be easy to come by! And finally they seem to be trickling in, thank goodness. Have a great weekend everyone!
I do feel like H is trying to respond to different needs and tastes in scarves. I think all the new shapes and formats really reflects that. The events where we've met the artists and seen them at work are fantastic!

@julian.f I don't think this Acte III could possibly be more STUNNING on anyone! Clearly, it was meant for you in this color way. If I had blonde hair, I would go for that one, myself. It looks so extremely "elevated" on you.
