I was at Madison today. The service has gotten even worse, if such a thing is possible. Anyway, I was able to see some of what they had for this season's scarves:

- Index Palmarum: several CWs, including black, navy and pink
- La Cité Cavalière: only one CW, dark blue with a yellow contrast hem (loved the design, not the CW, sadly)
- Zebra Mountain: one very colorful CW
- The SA mentioned they had Pâtisserie Française (the orange CW is on the wall) and Jungle Love Rainbow also, but did not show them to me
- Brides de Gala Shadow: one CW in pink/red
- Bolduc: several CWs, including blue, pink
- Brides et Galons du Tsar carré wash: several CWs including a neutral silver, the red that QueenieQ modelled, a pink, and another one I can't remember
- Kachinas: several CWs, all of which have been shown here

They also had several CWs of the Jardin de Leila, Maison des Carrés and Peuple du Vent CSGM. I also spotted a few CWs of the Petit Duc silk GM. And losanges and other formats.
Thanks for this. I am bringing some out-of-town scarfies there on Saturday, but there doesn't seem to be much stock. One of this, one of that? Spring was the same way.
No Acte III cashmeres?

Yes, another technique to make it look vintage
To me, the scarves look "washed out" - a pejorative term that I hate to use but it accurately conveys my impression
Probably an acid wash - remember acid (sand) washed jeans? The acid makes the silk feel different - acid washed jeans were softer
They show an extra photo of each wash scarf - on h.com site - the photo is a closeup showing how the colors are duller or washed out looking

I understand what you mean, but I n real life I don’t find the colors are actually washed out - interestingly, it appears that some of the brighter colors actually pop even more than on the regular silk. In photos it’s most obvious to me on the Kachinas with the white background, but in my others the colors are not washed out at all, this just photographs the best.

Went to the Palo Alto store today. They only had a few FW designs, but luckily they did have the Kachinas in blue and pink. My first Carre wash, my first Kermit Oliver. My first scarf from this season.
Several items I asked to see, the answer was, oh we had one, but already sold.
No one has mentioned the care tag. I am delighted this has a small care tag. It is unlike any I have seen before. Not sure if all FW 19 scarves have a smaller tag or just the “ wash” scarves. Anyone who has bought other designs please feel free to chime in.
I love how soft and drapey this feels right out of the box. I will probably wash by hand, although I do have a front loading Bosch.
When I looked at some previous season wash scarves, I did feel like some of you that it looked a bit faded. Don’t really feel that way about this one. In fact the pinks were deeper and richer than I expected.

I just saw this at the store and it’s quite bright! I think you are right, BBC, to me it seems the velvety matte finish is actually better at projecting color, because there’s no visual interference from the shine, just as when you are looking at a Matte photograph. It love both finishes, each has their own beauty, but the one complaint I have with the wash scarves is that their softness makes them a bit more prone to wrinkling, and hems are not as crisp a support to the shape...

Wow! Looks likes most of the items are sold within a week. But I'm sure they'll get more. Am I right that eventually most cws will be online? I really want to know all the options before I add more this season.

So the one that is called rouge/coral by Hermes is actually more of a hot pink to you?
If so good to know....I was hoping it was a definite red!
Thanks for the pics!
Absolutely, for me it’s very different from the Red used in bandanas fo example. It looks like the red used in the Équateur wash silk.
Another pic, with a bad light though.

Supposedly the scarves are machine washable... I would never try that in a million year with a US washing machine! And I've handwashed my scarves for years anyway...
I don't mind the look and feel - I picked up a nice CW of Equateur. I do mind that H charges quite a bit more than for the regular carrés! But they seem to be the only way they are reissuing classic designs now without mashups or garish colors...
My store's manager ( who is French) cleans her scarves in the washing machine which I would never have done until I got a posh new machine which has a silk wash. I have experimented! It is OK if you just want to freshen up a scarf but I would revert to hand washing if I have a particular mark or stain to remove.
I would love to see some proper reds, untainted by orange or coral - the silk equivalent of Rouge Garrance in leather We don't all suit spring-like colours. Fascinated to hear about 'red velours' in the Patisserie colourways listing - sounds interesting.

Love it and this is perfect for your color palette. Great choice and observation on the tag.

Yeah, I also found the colors on wash scarf unimpressive. I have a hot pink Equateur maxi twilly in regular silk from this season. Compared to the pink 90 wash, mine is a hundred times more brilliant and striking. Plus the wash scarves feel thinner and cheaper to the touch, IMO. I'm not a fan of them.

Just to say that sometimes a softer impression of even a brighter colour can work better on some people (even if I'm just speaking for myself here). Some colours are positively better with added 'blur'.

In my experience the Wash scarves actually feel thicker to my hand. Like my one DD I have no doubt they will be less resistant to dirt and make-up so although they are said to be washing machine friendly that will need to be washed more often and people may want to bear that in mind if choosing lighter cws.

I'm not sure about whether I'll get Kachinas but I like the cws I'm seeing so far.
