Balade en Berline is Wlodek Kaminski's design. My guess is Hermes commissioned Kyoto Marble to create a marble silk in this design.
YouTube offers several videos on the prep and production involving the techniques of Kyoto Marble. Fascinating! And the Hermes video is particularly interesting. You will no longer wonder why $950 is the price tag.
Love the small details, so difficult to take a pic of the real colours so this is just a small detail of scarf, colours should be darker and more blue.

Thank you! I discovered I can “split” sides by taking only partway through a mors ring circle and get all sorts of Petal-like effects. This is my first “purely for pretty” scarf....the others all have a story to tell, specific parts I think need to be “seen”.
