ooooh thank you so much this is really helping! I'm waiting for this to arrive at my boutique (they'll put one aside for me). It's gorgeous on you!! I was afraid that the yellow is a bit orangey but it looks like a true yellow?@blydia - Here are a few pics I took a while ago of the cobalt/curry/ciel cw 08 of Mountain Zebra:

This one?
love it with the denim!
it's hard to tell without knowing your eye color /hair - do you have quite clear colored eyes or are they more muted?
If you are a soft chroma gal like myself - a bright scarf like that will probably wear you instead of you wearing it. better to go for a bright looking scarf that is slightly muted to blend in with your chroma, while still giving you that kick... for example my cosmographia is bright, however there are plenty of soft elements mixed in that soften it (see below)
very bright bubble gum pinks, fuchsia and corals (the pink color swatch is bright, the fan is soft)

but then there are soft colors mixed in (reds, blush tones, the gold color, some of the blues, the lavender...)

I finally pulled the trigger on my first f/w scarf! Here's my marine/miel/blanc Le Regard de l'Arctique. This scarf is a huge surprise to me as I didn't look at it twice on the website but fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on. First of all I love the story behind it. What other brand would design a scarf featuring historical Inuit visors??? Second I love how many different elements you can highlight: the cute seals or masks on the corners, the gorgeous bright feathers at the top, or my favorite: those beaded reeds which remind me of seaweed undulating gently in the ocean... And finally, I think the navy/miel combo will look great with the neutral clothes in my winter wardrobe. Honestly I am so happy with this scarf that it might end up being my only f/w purchase unless they have something stunning in the new MT Slim format . I'm not in love with any of the other designs. The Kachinas wash is nice but I think it's too busy for me.
Without further ado some close ups and mod shots, against a black t-shirt:
@blydia - I consider it the only yellow that I can wear as a "winter". I see it as a gold-yellow, the kind of yellow on goldenrod, which I am allergic to, and other yellows in various shades of citrine stones. It is a glamorous yellow, if you will. Decadent. Mature. Deep. Rich. Bright. Exciting. At least that's the way it appears to my eyes, and we all see color differently. I think it will be spectacular on you-- even better on you than it looks on me to be honest, and I love that scarf!ooooh thank you so much this is really helping! I'm so glad you found it helpful!Such insight you have Blydia, I shall refer to your post in future when unsure.
I’ve been in and out of scarf buying for 25 yrs and never understood the whys and wherefores of why I can wear some seemingly wrong for me colourways. My criteria have sprung from a ragbag of failed attempts!
I must be a soft chroma too, many thank !
ok your description makes my mouth water lol. can't wait to see it IRL. Thank you so much for your help!!@blydia - I consider it the only yellow that I can wear as a "winter". This looks fantastic on you, HKsai! By the way, I love your lacoste shirt! The "painted" stripes are so cool! Was able to snatch this yesterday and threw it onto my mismatched outfit![]()
How did you do the second knot fifi? It is so lovely!
Mountain Zebra CW1 looks gorgeous on you. Love your knots. How do you do the first one? Please forgive me as I know that CW1 of Mountain Zebra has been shared to death here, but wanted to show a few knots that I made highlighting the zebra after I played with it a bit.

I love the multi-colored 140 shawls the best because of the designs. Look at your wardrobe and see if the Faubourg goes with most of your clothes. To me, the gray and black shawls are nice staples, but Hermes has such fabulous designs that sell out fast, so if you love this one, I would get it over the Ex Libris. You can get the Ex Libris another time.I purchased the new libris shawl in black (I originally wanted grey), then I saw the Faubourg 140 online and now I am so confused about which one to keep/exchange! Helllllpppppppp
