Here are a few of photos of mountain zebra I took today. I ended up getting one in turquoise/orange. I am not entirely sure if I made a right choice!

Garde Robe Pop - the Rose Vif is really vif! A neutral-warmish extremely saturated hot pink that the camera is having a hard time capturing. I just love the design, not sure this color works for me. I was wanting a bright scarf (a gap in my collection) but it's overwhelming my features. It might go back. Thoughts?

Ok, I read down below that you’ve decided against it. I adore fuchsia so I’m
Not the right person to ask and I also adore stripes! And it does tie beautifully... but, I’m glad that it’s going back if it didn’t sing to you!

Which one of these is not like the others?? Once I noticed that this flower on 06 was missing a stem, I couldn't unsee that blank space.

Then I looked at my collection as a whole and realized that my fondness for the hot pinks and blues were fairly well represented with my Samourai and Kachinas. Also, given that I had a hot pink ZP, it seemed extra-redundant:View attachment 4506497

After a silly amount of perseveration, I decided to return two and keep 01.

I wore it in my professional headshots for my new business; it fits the brand colors!

(Hi. That's what I look like. I've always very anti-social media and photo-phobic, but am trying to get brave about putting myself out there.)
Stunning choice! I am your twin on this beauty! Looks amazing on you!

I finally pulled the trigger on my first f/w scarf! Here's my marine/miel/blanc Le Regard de l'Arctique. This scarf is a huge surprise to me as I didn't look at it twice on the website but fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on. First of all I love the story behind it. What other brand would design a scarf featuring historical Inuit visors??? Second I love how many different elements you can highlight: the cute seals or masks on the corners, the gorgeous bright feathers at the top, or my favorite: those beaded reeds which remind me of seaweed undulating gently in the ocean... And finally, I think the navy/miel combo will look great with the neutral clothes in my winter wardrobe. Honestly I am so happy with this scarf that it might end up being my only f/w purchase unless they have something stunning in the new MT Slim format . I'm not in love with any of the other designs. The Kachinas wash is nice but I think it's too busy for me.

Without further ado some close ups and mod shots, against a black t-shirt:
Congrats on your first purchase of the season... It is amazing! The more I see this scarf the more I like it... It ties so beautifully and the graphic details are so unique!

Was able to snatch this yesterday and threw it onto my mismatched outfit :giggle:
My fav CW of this design so far... Love it on you!

@blydia - Here are a few pics I took a while ago of the cobalt/curry/ciel cw 08 of Mountain Zebra:

I think you got CW1, which is the one I purchased... I love it! But, then, you really can’t go wrong with any CW in this design... It is amazing!

Wow!:ps:Looks amazing on you!:flowers:I am now looking at each colourways to check for the stem!:flowers:
Please forgive me as I know that CW1 of Mountain Zebra has been shared to death here, but wanted to show a few knots that I made highlighting the zebra after I played with it a bit.

@Living.la.vida.fifi - You must stop making me drool with the way you manipulate cw 01, and with such ease! I almost want to purchase a second one in this cw as a backup in case something drips onto the first one and somehow destroys it. I think I can guess at how you ingeniously tied it in picture #3, and I hope that my neck is thin enough to try that one, myself.

Hahaha! Thank you so much! The third knot is easy. You just fold the scarf across a few times making sure that at the end the zebra’s head is visible. Then you place on side of neck, make a knot and fluff

Thank you all for your perspectives, compliments, and likes! I've decided to return this scarf - your thoughts definitely helped me consider all the angles! It is a truly stunning scarf - I hope my pictures will inspire "the right person" to consider it. It is one of those "sleeper" designs that ties great.

Thanks! I love pink too! If you like vivid pink, you need to check this one out.

I'm truly honored that my pictures have helped you, @Julide. Yes, I am trying to find that line between pushing out of comfort zone (in a productive way), and avoiding the closet orphans. You never know until you try! The bold pink really does go well with denim. The helping of Bleu Jean in the stripes tones down the pink a bit, but not enough for my particular coloring unfortunately. I do know what works for me, but sometimes I deny it ....

Thank you so much! It really is a wonderful design, but you are so right - at these prices it needs to hit on all cylinders. I love your perspective that "it's all about me" - scarves are one area of life where that is a very good way to be

I like a strong lip color, but this scarf washed out even my strongest. (agree it is stunning - still available on the US site ....)

I think the stripes are actually the dark marine color, or at least not a pure hard black. That was one reason I thought it might work. Oh well - I did the experiment!

@art nouveau that is a great set of criteria. I love it with my wardrobe, but my poor face gets gray and disappeared. No good!

Well-stated @ILLYLOULOU96. This has been my most useful criterion so far in choosing scarves - "does it make me look great"? Whenever I stray from that, sooner or later I'm sorry.

@hannahsophia thank you for reminding me of this, it was a pivotal realization! There is always more to look forward to with H.

Thank you so much for these helpful pictures and analysis @blydia! Yes, I am a soft chroma girl too! "True Summer" - my hair is ashy light brown and eyes are muted green-gray. I always love seeing your scarf choices and how they fit with your soft chroma. Spoiler alert - I did try on this CW of Cosmographia at the boutique and honestly it was the only one that made me go "ooooh" immediately. Hmmm.....

ROFL "putting too much effort into this relationship"! You have captured the essence of my dilemma so succinctly @MAGJES ! Thank you for your kind compliment.

It's true .... physics can't be changed no matter how appealing a design is.

@art nouveau I was thinking about MZ CW 7 but I believe you are right, this one is for the Winters.
@Langsam Thank you very much, Langsam. These flowers belong to art nouveau, really.
She has hit that spot so precisely. I just added my personal experiences about far too many never worn shawls based on the characteristics/features expressed by art nouveau.
