@FugitiveRouge - While you may not have solved your dilemma, you've solved mine! I need that blue/pink MZ after all. Who knew?

But, back to you. You may not have found the color way that most resonates with you. Perhaps the Cobalt/Curry/Ciel color way (cw 08) will work best. That one, for some reason, does make me feel like $1,000,000, to use the expression of @Jbizzybeetle at tPF. Perhaps it is all of the glorious "gold" in it contrasted against the rich, deep, vibrant blues? I had not expected to fall so hard for that one. That said, return them all if you don't "love" any of them. If you will not wear them (or frame them) they serve no purpose for you.

I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING at your first two sentences! I think I will giggle all day. :giggle:

Hello. I know the mountain zebra is getting a lot of coverage here, but I hope you don't mind me sharing these comparison photos of 08 (with the pink zebra), 07 (fuschia/aqua), and 01 (the "original"):

They are all so heart-breakingly beautiful, but I (shockingly) don't know if I want to keep any of them. Maybe it's the print scale and density? Maybe it's the sweetness of the design? Or maybe it's my generally inability to choose between them that is making me throw up my hands? I don't know.

Thoughts?

I understand how you feel. It’s odd, but I almost feel like we have an “embarrassment of riches” this season, with many beautiful scarves and cws. I cannot remember the last season with this many scarves I fell in love with.

In fact, one of the ways I have been able to justify the similar colorways of different designs is because of the scale. I have the blue/pink Kachinas and Brides de Gala Shadow, and while the colors are similar (actually Kachinas has many more colors), the scale is so different, with the BDGS a very very simple, plain look that I appreciate. So, I am trying not to get the Zebras in this color.

What I did get is Zebras in 02, which is truly a surprise when you see it IRL. It’s got green and peach, which aren’t necessarily what I am looking for, but it’s great for folding to show bits of these along with my more comfort zone colors, which there are plenty of (pinks, blues, yellow)....my mom said I “have to” keep it. And it really fits a hole in my wardrobe (I do wear olive quite a bit).

But you have to be comfortable with this sort of design. I like to have different kinds of designs to keep my wardrobe varied. Sometimes the scarf is front and center, and other times it’s just tucked into a blazer, etc. I just wonder, that, if you love the design and these colors so much, how you will feel if you don’t keep any of them.

I love them all, although I’m actually drawn to the richness and density of the colours especially 1 and 7.....however if density and scale is the issue, I’d go with 8....due to the white ground in the design, there’s a lot more “light” coming through the foliage and the result is a fresh delicate, almost lacy quality, that would pair beautifully with whites, pastels and also really bounce off black, without the big punches of color of the other two. Its a very different effect from the other two...for simple versatility and less formality I’d go with 1 if the colours flatter you, you could wear it with nearly anything. If you are really going for a dressier more dramatic look or you just wear a lot of fuschias and blues, go with 7. (I love number seven’s palette,
but I think it is the most challenging)

HEY! If your Mom says you “have to” keep it, you need go no further....Can’t wait to see it! I agree this is a very difficult season to not really indulge in...especially that pink/fuschia/ blue colorway that keeps popping up in so many patterns, and all so varied in their style and effect... like you, I want to vary the colorways, so I don’t over load on one palette....but my eye keeps wandering back to the comfort zone...I may just have to splash out this fall!

My congratulations to all beautiful ladies who posted here their new scarfs.
I’ve got this little guy recently. Really happy with him. It is my first AW scarf this season, and probably the last one) so far everything else are not quite “ my cup of tea”.

View attachment 4504054 Sorry but it’s just too hot here to spend much time trying on my new scarves so I just took one quick pic of this scarf. Hope this helps View attachment 4504037 View attachment 4504038
Oooh, thank you so much for these pics! So stunning! This CW is on my wishlist, but I hope to see more and to compare IRL... Gorgeous!

I really love my Cosmographia in Rose / Rouge / Blanc. It’s my first red scarf and also the first scarf whose tag I removed. I posted before about the coral tones in this scarf and now I am posting some comparison shots with the Cosmographia Blanc / Vert / Corail. Apologies for looking scruffy - it’s full on Eskandar sweater weather here in the Southern Hemisphere!View attachment 4504151View attachment 4504161View attachment 4504163View attachment 4504166View attachment 4504167View attachment 4504168
Oh, thank you for these! You look amazing and they are both gorgeous in their own unique way
