Finally the Mountain Zebra CW 01 and 07 are here! Some comparison shots below. A thing to note: for some reason the CW07 does not photograph well, the colors seem (to me) dull and a bit dark, the scarf is much more vibrant in real life. Pictures taken in natural light.View attachment 4502556 View attachment 4502557 View attachment 4502558 View attachment 4502559 View attachment 4502560 View attachment 4502555
We are twins on these two CWs of Mountain Zebra. Love them both. Agree CW 7 looks much more vibrant in real life. I notice some light bulbs especially the CFL type do weird things to colors when you take pictures. I try to take pictures in natural daylight as much as possible.

Yes it is funny how the artificial light distorts the colors. Despite of the fact that I took the pictures in natural light the CW07 looks still somewhat muted vs. in real life. Maybe it is my iPhone camera that is doing this...

Congratulations! Love all the variations you demonstrated in such a quick time!
Thank you so much!

I love the third tie! Any chance you could post how you did it?
Thanks so much! The third tie in the first set or second set of pics? I can definitely show step by step through pics, although I don’t know whether it would be appropriate to do so in this thread. I may have to send pics to you via PM

Do we have pictures and the full colourways of Cite Cavaliere?
Yes... Octave Marsal posted all the colorways on his IG... I’ll take screenshots and post here

Ok first off, long time lurker of this thread but never posted because I could never pull the trigger on a scarf. Don't get me wrong. I have bought them as gifts for aunties who work really hard and don't treat themselves, but ironically could never justify treating myself haha BUT the Hermes Sale was near my work this year and since day 2-4 of the public sale had no lines, I rushed over and got my very first few scarves!! eeeek! BUT now comes the question, how do I tie them as BEAUTIFULLY as all of you!

Especially @Living.la.vida.fifi ! I stalk your photos all. the. time. You tie them so well and it always shows a different side to each scarf. Do you know how to wear your scarves from trial and error? Or from being taught? Any pointers??? I'm so excited! :yahoo:

Oh, Congratulations on your first scarves purchased FOR YOU! What a treat! Out of curiosity, which did you choose? And, many thanks for your lovely compliment... I am so flattered! Honestly, coming up with the knots is largely trial and error and playing with the silks as I wish to show some design element or feature and, all of a sudden, a knot is born! I also have learned so much from veteran TPFrs and their amazing knotting skills. I’ve asked on many occasions as to how to execute a particular one. I believe there are threads here solely on tying scarves, although I love the Scarf of the Day thread and have learned so much there! Another great resource has been to learn the basics from YouTube channels such as maitai’s and from the various scarfie IG accounts I follow. Are you on IG? There are wonderful accounts there to learn from. I do apologize if I’ve extended myself on this thread about an off topic issue

thanks! in real life it’s brighter and was definitely overpowering.

There's a thread specifically on silk tutorial's here. Perhaps @Living.la.vida.fifi can post the instructions and pics on that thread? :)

It was posted here. :)
