OMG, I need to read this whole thread!

I have not collected any scarves for a long time. I had my first baby in March. She was born 3 months early, we stayed at the hospital for weeks and soon she will have heart surgery My local Hermes store have been so kind, sending us cards and flowers. So yesterday I finally went back for a scarf! After months with no unnecessary shopping

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much everyone! it means a lot to me These last months have been so hard, but now I feel that life is a little bit "normal" again I was so happy when I logged on to TPF and found this scarf thread. So many gorgeous scarves, and more to come. I have been looking at Alice Shirleys Zebra scarf as well, but can not decide the CW I want. So I will continue looking at this thread when my baby lets me

Hi Juvelen, I watched a dear friend go through a similar experience after the birth of her oldest. It was the uncertainty and fear she found hardest. Sending heartfelt prayers to you all. X

My H store has only one design in one CW on my list. Many I wish to see will not even be coming in because they’ve not been ordered. So, This is why I haven’t even stopped by. And, Ive been avoiding h.com because they’ve so royally messed up for me recently. So I see I am going to be doing a little shuffling this season....so many wonderful scarves but not all will ultimately work. I exchanged my Cosmographia for one of the Brides de Gala in an undeniably awesome and versatile colorway....especially for those of us who like rainbow colors. I think this cw has the most movement to it and while I do plan to wear it, I think it will be phenomenal for display. It did not have the tag so I don’t know the official colors:

Extremely frustrating! This season is so disconcerting at my local boutique. I’ve been told that some designs and CWs will never come in, period, because they have not been ordered. I’m thinking that perhaps It may be due to the fact that being a tropical climate here for the majority of the year, people rarely wear scarves. But, I was amazed that there was practically nothing from the new season in mid-July, which has never happened before. The only design they had in one of the CWs I wish to see is Index Palmarum in the black, but I wanted to see the marine/blanc and the ivory and the marine/blanc will not be ordered. None of Brides de Gala Shadow have arrived and I was told a very small selection would be coming in, anyway. I think they had one or two CWs of Mountain Zebra and none are what that I’m interested in seeing. The Jungle Love Rainbow is so good that I’m interested in a few, but two of my favs will not be coming in because they will not be ordered: CWs 3, 14 and 15. Of Cosmographia, they have one or two as well. And none of the main ones I want to see... Some will not be ordered at all, so they won’t be coming in, such as CW2. They haven’t even seen La Cite Cavaliere and don’t know whether it will be ordered. I’m always surprised every season by CWs and designs that I haven’t considered, but there are always things that I’m pretty sure I’d like to try and it’s pretty weird to be told that they won’t be coming in... period!

Can your SA transfer the CWS you like in from other stores? My store rarely receives my favourite scarf CWs so they just get them in for me hopefully your SA can do the same

That is crazy! I’m so sorry that your store is so hit and miss. Will they transfer scarves you want from another store to you? I know that takes more waiting time for you, but if they dont order much in the first place, they should at least accommodate you in that way.

Great list! I loved your pictures of the mountain zebra and it is now also on my list Also twins with you in the carnival des oiseaux and Acte III but I have to see them in real life before purchasing.
