I'm very pleased to have been able to snag my No.1 wish list item for the season. Presenting Acte III 140 CSGM in CW 22. I know there have been some modelling shots earlier so none of those (please ask if you'd like me to make some) but just real life close-ups/details for those considering this model. It is everything and then some. In the H photos it comes over far more gray than IRL. It's a neutral lover's dream. I was besotted with the design in the 90cm format but no CW worked for me. This is everything!!!

The contrast trim in H orange, the majority of the brown is really aligned with the what H calls "gold" in their leather offerings (i.e. camel), the background is natural and most of the artwork is "drawn" in black.

Oh, it’s fantastic! Congrats!

After drooling over 92 pages, finally got my first scarf mail of the season. Foresee many coming... La Cite Cavaliere in CW11 Ciel/Cream/Rouge. Love it!
I love it! This is my fav CW that I’ve seen so far

@papertiger It is definitely not colourful, I'd say approximately 5-6 colours including the natural background (orange - hem, natural, black, H gold/camel, brown, and then possibly another brown or it is the same one but just the concentration in the picture makes it look darker). That's it.

Exactly as @nymeria mentions, it is warmer IRL than the original H pictures let on. I would, however, say that it falls in the neutral to warm category. It is very easy to wear if these colours suit you...Acte III is a busy design so some may be put off by it. This CW, imo, makes it very wearable for many.

For those who asked for modeling pics, here are a few - they're all "quick and dirty". It's so hot, I just couldn't and, to be fair, this also means that I didn't take the time to make sure the knots looked good, which goes to show how good of a scarf it is! @LadyCupid was first with some - ( https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...er-2019-scarves.1009526/page-61#post-33178156 ) - I specifically stuck to some different looks to highlight other parts of the scarf:

Colours in photos are pretty close to real life (at least on my monitor)
Gorgeous!

Here are a couple of quick images of Mountain Zebra, the scarf I am wearing today, and the one on the US website, in cw 08 cobalt/curry/ciel.

The Jungle Love Rainbow is exquisite... I have not yet seen a bad CW

Not a scarf weather so I just throw it on some clothing. Thanks for all the likes! :drinks:
It is sublime!

View attachment 4477667 View attachment 4477668 I have the 06 rose/Rouge/blanc CW of Cosmographia. The web site photo makes it look like the blanc dominates but irl the pink is the dominant color
Oh, so beautiful! The predominance of pink is outstanding!

Quick stealth selfie before the work colleagues come in and wonder why I am taking a pic of myself. Acte IIII CSGM cw 15.
Looks stunning on you! Such a great choice!

Cosmographia came in the mail today with its glorious pinks, purples and blues. These are my personal favorite, "feel good" colors. The hot pink edges are awesome, too. Seeing all of these waves and boats, exotic animals, and pyramids makes me want to take a vacation, or at least get to the nearest beach.

Went to SF boutique today and found cosmographia on the blue pink CW. Twins with several of you now. I wanted to also try the CW that @PepperS has, but alas they did not have that one.
Depending on how you fold it, you can highlight more blues, pinks, lighter or darker. It has fab hot pink hem.
First pic was taken in boutique so funky lighting...
Oh and @HermesHope you would love this one.

Perfection! OMG I’ve got to see this one IRL... I am in love!

Great choice! It is fabulous!

What an exquisite CW! I think I’m going to fall for this one... Congrats!

@Living.la.vida.fifi, why is Kachinas your fave design?

Good evening ladies and gents. So I went into the Boutique today knowing exactly what I would leave with (and I was right!)
plenty of new felines in my closet as of today.

I know both have been featured quite heavily already but there can never be enough potentially enabling mod shots, can there?

Wonderful CW! Love the hem

A few more thoughts from my boutique visit. No new 70s yet. They had quite a few CWs of the new alice Shirley men’s scarf. Only 2 CWs of Mt Zebra. The orange one, and the blue/gold one. Which had too much orangey gold yellow for me.

here is the cosmographia in the blue gold CW. Depending on which diagonal you fold, one way is mostly dark, the other has more light blues.

View attachment 4479702
Beautiful choice! Congrats!

I am sorry. I am not sure. Perhaps other scarfies who are well versed with Kachinas original issue can comment on this instead.
I own three Kachinas original issue and the CWs of the original issue are completely different. I own the design in cream, in turquoise and in hot pink. It’s a completely different feel in the blending and choice of colors. I don’t think it’s correct to clog this feed with pics of my original Kachinas for comparison, but if you are on Instagram, I have done extensive posts about my original Kachinas there as well as a recent post about the Kachinas giant triangle from last season.

Post nights mod shot. Excuse the dead eyed look.
Great drape... Love it!

Bolduc cw31 and a twilly cw18 just arrived. A couple of mod shots attached, please excuse me of my poor skills of scarf/twilly tying, still have not learned after all these years :giggle:
I think this is such a classic design! I own the original issue (90cm) in the “natural” Hermès ribbon coloration (brown/tan/orange) and love it!

So very excited to share Mountain Zebra colorway 09 with you. I was floored by this particular coloration once I tried it on. Now excited to see the other colorations in person as well. It is much more brilliant in life than photos can depict. Happy weekend all!

It is fantastic! I am in love with the zebra pattern when tied... Pops so strikingly! Beautiful on you

Here is a an attempt of a modshot for Dragon Flash .. not sure i can pull it off but i like this format - so easy to wear !!!
Great design!

I was able to snag this one up quickly! I went right back for a second in this color-way for a friend and it was gone! Maybe more will hit the site later? Grateful I got it, because it’s beautiful! Plus it reminds me of when my son was little and loved nothing more than dinosaurs (not exactly sure if that’s what this is, but it reminds me of them!) ❤️
I am in love! Just look at how that dragon eye pops! Amazing!

Garde Robe Pop cw05 (background is cool bright white, and those dots are chocolate brown IRL) is my fav of this season. I'm not a dot or stripe scarf person, but this one got me! The design is cute, quirky (in a good way) and surprisingly modern when tied up. This cw goes well with not only black white brown but also my burgundy and blue clothes.

La Cite Cavaliere, CW2, in shade, mix of shade & sun, close to full sun.
I love it! What a fantastic design!

I just picked up act iii in bleu nuit / jaune / vert. I was familiar w the print from last year but it never spoke to me. When my SA suggested it, it was reluctant but I was pleasantly surprised by the colours and how each corner is so diff.
I have the 90 and adore it... it’s a masterful design! So spectacular in this format!

I know this has been posted before, but I do want to add some information to note about this design for future reference.

Acte III:

Two things I noted about the printing of the cashmere (I don’t have this in the silk) which will be more evident in some colorways than others.

Note in this flower section:

View attachment 4483127

Some of the print is tonal:

View attachment 4483128

This is not a printing issue. Its just more obvious in some colorways than others. I took pics of my computer screen from photos on the website:

View attachment 4483129

Also, the “night” background is a bit mottled - again, not a misprint (I color-adjusted to make it more obvious):

Cosmographia Universalis CW02 combined with Animapolis CW08 for a super bow.
Oh, I love how you tied this! Spectacular!

I finally managed to take some modelling shots of Cosmographia Universalis #05 and have written quite a detailed scarf profile on my blog (I do this for all of my H collection when I can gather enough information):

Here is my outfit today:

Wonderful choice! Congrats!

I have the first one. It’s slightly darker in real life. Very easy to style imo and you ca make it more (or less) of a rainbow if you like.
Sensational!

Mountain Zebra CW 06
This is simply stunning!

Presenting Cosmographia CW 06. I bought this partly because I’m still kicking myself for not buying every version of Jardin de Leila way back when, but also because I was intrigued about the colours that are on the scarf but not on the label. The CW is Rose / Rouge / Blanc but it has prominent coral and grey tones. So much so that I photographed it with actual orange to show off the density of colour and also with the most coral scarf I own, Le Laboratoire du Temps. And like LLDT, Cosmographia has hints of lilac, although now very subtle! Final picture is a reverse for the purists...
What a wonderful post! Spectacular CW!

Here is Jungle Love Rainbow CW06 combined with RdS from an earlier season.
OMG Fantastic!!

Another new addition to my giant silk collection, and I love it. I also was pleasantly surprised that it is the summer silk, not the heavier winter silk. I’m sure it was mentioned here but I missed it. Will it be like this from now on? I love the lighter silk in the giant scarves. Excuse the bow, it’s not my best.

@Living.la.vida.fifi, why is Kachinas your fave design?
As I stated, Kachinas is one of my favorite designs of all time. Not my fav (I don’t think I would be able to pick just one), but definitely at the top of my list. First of all, I adore the Kermit Oliver designs and have collected many. They are special to me because of their iconography and the pure artistic execution of the graphics. As an art historian with a soft spot for Native American art, and having traveled extensively through the Southwest region of the US in my youth, these designs are especially meaningful to me in so many levels. My first Hermès obsession was with the Kachinas design and it was the first design that I collected in multiples. I own original 90s in the turquoise, hot pink and cream. I have also collected vintage and fashion jewelry for over 40 years and many of my Southwest and Mexican silver pieces pair beautifully with the Kermit Oliver designs, especially Kachinas. My second favorite KO design is Les Cheyennes, but nothing comes close to Kachinas. I love circles and Zuni design and pictorial motifs. I also love designs that have deep meaning and cultural significance and Kachinas has it all. It is a design that has deep cultural value and meaning, beautifully executed, and the overall pattern has a harmony and symmetry that is beautiful and powerful. I consider Kachinas one of the masterpieces of Hermès.

May I ask what about the texture and look you dislike in the wash silk? I just got a wash silk in Washington’s carriage this week but haven’t worn it yet, so am curious with how it wears and looks over time.
If I may add my two cents, I own two wash silk scarves and there are aspects about them that I like and dislike. I love the soft and heavier silky hand that almost feels vintage. The fall is exceptional and makes softer, more casual ties drape so smoothly and effortlessly. I find that the color saturation is beautiful as well. What I dislike is that some of the knots that I like and that require a stiffer quality simply droop in an odd way with the carré wash. Something I really dislike is that they wrinkle more and the wrinkles stay more set in and that drives me crazy.

Exactly as Living.la.vida.fifi stated is the reason I don't like them. They are too casual for what I wear silk for. I love making big, puffy bows and the silk twill is more stiff leading to a puffier bow. I like the more structured look the silk twill offers. The wash is softer and less stiff, so I don't like the way it feels or falls. But everyone is different, and I do enjoy the beautiful pictures I see of the wash silks the members post here, and I love a lot of the CW's and designs that come in the wash.

Thanks for your explanation. Really hoping one of Wash scarves will work out for me. I haven't taken much notice of this design before in its many permutations, but something about these cws calls to me especially in the 90s.
