Hello, I was offered a Gold hardware GST.
I checked the serial number its a 21xxx series. Did the GST discontinued
in 2015? Is it possible the bag was manufactured in 2015?

Hi! Yes GST was discontinued in 2015. 21 series is entirely possible. The 0's on the code number should have strikes through them also. Odd enough I purchased a M/L classic flap in June 2016 and it started with series 23. Enjoy!
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. To cut a long story short, sold my double flap jumbo, got med/lge flap. Kind of regretting it. Am tempted to buy gst for everyday or source a single flap jumbo, double flap too heavy. Can someone tell me anything specific to look for to authenticate gst?One I'm thinking of buying but want to ensure its real. I know they're should be a lampo zip in middle compartment, anything else? I'm in Ireland by the way so possibly will be eBay , anywhere else I can try? How do ye find gst? Any tips for codes etc? Apparently it was bought in 2015.Heavy or OK for everyday, I imagine I will handhold it as I know straps can slip off shoulder. Thank you everyone in advance.

This is a very late reply. I personally think the GST is too heavy for every day wear. Siopaella have had a few over the years but price is way above store prices were. I find siopaella are always overpriced. Keep an eye on Designer Exchange also. I bought my OM speedy empreinte there. Hopefully youve already scored one!
I was finally able to get my hands on a series 19 black GST with GHW in Excellent condition.
My favorite IG consignment store is great at helping to source pieces. Try looking him up on instagram. His handle is coco_approved.

I Sold my two LV Neverfull (mm) two years ago and ever since then I’ve been wanting another daily spacious bag! I was deciding between the GST and the GST XL for quite some time.. finally I was lucky enough to find a wonderful 17 series XL in caviar navy blue. Definitely love how spacious she is & I am so happy it can fit my 12in iPad Pro & my ginormous planner plus some kids stuff ( I”m a mom of two girls ) Super happy to finally have this in my collection. I believe this is another Chanel classic that will still be the trend in the next yearssssss!!
