Hi everyone, to those lovely lady that own GST with gold hardware. How is the hardware after you're been using it. Does the colour tarnished. I've seen few seller who's selling their bag. Mostly the colour have faded. Your input is most welcome. Thanks

For anyone interested there appears to be a few GST still available in Australia (the SA told me that it will be discontinued once the current stock is sold out). I managed to purchase the Caviar GHW for my sister for xmas:) - Price AUD4540.

Ive had mine for a year and no tarnish as yet, but to my understanding all gold hardware on chanel bags is susceptible to this its not just a GST issue

It goes the whole way across.... There is acouple of cms gap either-side

Yes I know, I am having the same issue. It's not as comfy as some other totes for every day... I am thinking of selling and buying a m/l flap in beige clair instead.

I have the same issue too. I never go for my GST because it is a little boxy and is not as comfortable as my other bags. But I do love it! Mine is Navy with GHW and the only blue one I have in my collection so I am keeping it. I say if it doesn't "sing to you" get something that does.
My Chanel collection:
Navy GST
Black medium caviar classic flap
black lambskin vintage flap
red lambskin camera bag with GHW
mini pewter flap
black lambskin WOC with SHW
white and gray ombre 224 reissue
