Hello. I have had a black caviar gst with GHW for more than a year never used. I can't figure out why I have not used it. Do I keep it or get rid of it?? Any and all In put would be most helpful. Thanks to all. Sheila
I have an orange GST and a grey one, both with SHW, and I absolutely love them! I love the boxiness of the bag and it holds quite a bit. The GST is my absolutely favorite Chanel bag!
If I were you, I'd hold onto it. You may change your mind even years from now, and if or when you do, you'll have a discontinued bag that's in pristine condition.
If you eventually decide not to keep it, it'll still be in excellent shape and people will pay a decent price for it because it's such a timeless style.

I just bought my first Chanel bag, the GST SHW, and I love it. I found her brand new on eBay for 2700.00. Was so happy. But when I was out Christmas shopping somehow someone walking by scraped the bottom of it, it didn't tear the leather, but it made a mark. I'm so frustrated because I bet there's no way to fix it. Any thoughts? Thanks ladies.

Found this old edition GST on eBay for $1900+shipping with only light shelf wear, Bergdorfs tag and plastic on zipper pull still on. One week of carrying it daily, and I'm in love. It goes with literally every outfit. My palette is mostly light and bright colors, and in sunny Florida it's the perfect year-round bag. Extremely functional and keeps everything organized. I was expecting a clunker, but it feels lightweight and comfortable to me for a leather bag, and I'm petite 100lb. I usually wear medium day bags, and consider this one a large. I've been storing it laying on its side to keep the structure as long as possible, and ordered clear bases made to fit GST section bottoms.

So girls...I bought last year gorgeous GST black and wallet and used for a few weeks to work, but it's such a special bag that it's been on my shelf in closet next to not used mulberry Roxanne since, the gucci and bal are more practical for everyday work..anyone have a gorgeous GST they visit daily in their closet?

Did you try using meltonian or Cadillac leather lotion on it? I can't say whether it will remove the scratch completely or not, but it should minimize it. Both of these cleaners/conditioners have worked wonders for my Chanel bags! HTH--and congratulations on finding a brand new GST!

Can this product removed a dark spot from my lambskin? (Might be an oil stain)

I don't use the same products on lamb. I use the meltonian delicate cream to remove scratches on my lambskin bags, but I've never tried to remove a stain. Lovin my bags sells a cleaner for lambskin. You may want to ask them if they've had any success removing oil stains with their products:)
