I am working down my list of dream bags and finally got to white grand shopping tote silver hardware. My local Chanel SA says I'm too late. They are discontinued. But I saw people buying them in May in Paris. I thought I'd ask the authorities. Is it discontinued worldwide? Or maybe it's only available in Paris? Did I miss the boat? Thank you in advance.

I live in Switzerland and went to Chanel store in Geneva to buy the GST. The SA also told me it was no longer available but very kindly checked the Euopean stock in the system. She told me the only place in Europe where the GST is in stock is London (the Bond Street store, or the concession in Harrods or Selfridges).

I called Harrods and they confirmed that the GST is a permanent element of their stock and is always available.

I am going to buy the black caviar GST with silver hw on 10th Oct while I am in London. I have been searching for it unsuccessfully for a long time. I had no idea that a model could be restricted to just one city!

Wow. Thanks for the info. I'll probably call from Paris next month to see if they have what I want and if so I will take the train to London for the day.. I actually wanted white with silver and thought I could wait until next summer but I'll be lucky if I get it now. If not I'll be out of luck.

White could be difficult as it is not the current season's colour, but it would be worth asking the sa in the Paris store to check the system for you. Harrods are also very helpful and will ask the Chanel concession for you if you send them an email [email protected]

So I think I finally found something to coordinate with my blue GST. What do you think? I went to return it but the SA talked me into keeping it. Plus I had enough coupons.:sweatdrop:

Thanks everyone.:D I have been trying to figure out how to pull this shade of blue off plus TB fits me much better than Chanel.

Really cute combo together! That is a perfect match of blue with quilts! I would rock this look with a pair of really light washed blue skinny jeans for a casual look. Even dark gray skinny jeans would go with this handbag as well! Too cute together!!L
