question- should i but black or beige for an everyday bag (errands/shopping/schoolruns).. im thinking of buying beige but afraid of long term maintenance. thanks in advanced TPFers

Definitely black for an everyday bag. I have it in black with gold hardware. I think I would be worried about marks/colour transfer too much if I had it in beige. I think beige caviar is better for an evening bag.

Pocketbook pup, you can find still find the GST in certain European countries. It's still in London boutiques and is considered a classic line in London. Thus, there is a high likelyhood you will find it in Selfridges, Harrods, and individual Chanel boutiques.

I have this bag in Beige/ gold hardware and it's gorgeous! I used it as my everyday bag this past Spring/ Summer and it held up beautifully. It looks as good as new. I was mindful of color transfer ( i.e. Dark denim), but I don't wear much denim in Summer anyways. I don't overstuff it and there's no sagging or wear and tear. I know beige can be carried year- round, but I prefer to use it during Spring/ Summer. I think Black/ gold hardware is beautiful too. I say get the one that makes your heart sing! For me, it was beige hands down!

wow thank you.. i do tend to overstuff my bag (bring the kitchen sink) bits and bobs LOL.. i will have a lookat the botique.. I have limited budget but also wanting an LV luggage but can only have GST or the Luggage.. thanks a lot for your advise [emoji6] xx

Ladies, please excuse me if this is a stupid question. I have several flap bags (including a maxi that I LOVE for the person above who asks about a maxi.) I am working down my list of dream bags and finally got to white grand shopping tote silver hardware. My local Chanel SA says I'm too late. They are discontinued. But I saw people buying them in May in Paris. I thought I'd ask the authorities. Is it discontinued worldwide? Or maybe it's only available in Paris? Did I miss the boat? Thank you in advance.

Hi! I just bought mine today in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands for SGD4220. It was not on display, my SA took it out when I asked for it. Read somewhere that they do not display the GST anymore in some stores?
