I own several Hermes scarves and cosmetics, but this is my first Hermes bag. I think this one will be perfect for spring and summer.

I would do one Twilly per handle (two total), not one Twilly on both handles. Is that what you're asking? I love the color of this one BTW!
I’d say it depends on you. You can do one, two or none. For me, even one handle with twilly looks cute!

i don't think you need purchase history. But each store is different.
GP was my first Hermes bag & purchase. my home store is really competitive.
I would set up an appointment and see what the store has!
The GP, depending on size, is sometimes as elusive as a quota bag. Sometimes customers are able to get/receive within days a specific color (or color family)—sometimes customers take whatever (in-store) color they can get in their desired style. I hope you get the GP in your desired color. Yes. Very true. In Europe it can be very difficult to get any Garden Party but especially the size 30. They dole them out as if they are Birkins. In fact, one time at FSH I was able to get a Kelly but NOT a GP 30. I had to believe the SA when she said they didn't have any because if she was willing to sell me a Kelly why wouldn't she sell the the GP? But I am sure at other stores they have had them but said no when I asked. Five years ago or so, Hermes.com here in the US always had a number for sale on a regular basis but now they appear very rarely and are gone in an instant. I have always wondered why it changed.
I wonder if Hermes newbies dipping their toes in the ‘starter-bag’ prices is partially responsible for the GP and (US market) Evelyne shortages.
Five years ago you could easily buy a Lindy at Hermes.com also. Not sure what has happened. I am sure there is increased demand but I also think there is artificial scarcity perpetuated by Hermes.
How hard is it to purchase a garden party 36? I need a new work bag that is undetectable in terms of luxury house, and I am considering the garden party. I would like to purchase in either black or etoupe. Thanks!!
