You can't go wrong with Noir. A twilly in any colour will jazz it up easily. Is this in size 30 or 36? I think it's a matter of getting used to a handheld bag but I think you can still wear a GP36 over the shoulder in summer time when you aren't wearing a thick overcoat in winter.

Enjoy yours in good health! ;)

I have the black 30 and the purple 36. I like wearing my GP 36 on my shoulder. It stretches with time. I'm not a small gal either. I think black is a wonderful choice.

Thanks, I hope everyone has had a great new year! I've had the bag since September and I've finally pulled it out of the closet to use (the only time it was out was when I took that picture). Hopefully a Rodeo will appear on the Aus website soon so I dress it up~~

I like using my GP 30 cm in the winter because it is a lighter bag and the 36 in the summer when I can wear it on my shoulders. A Rodeo will dress it up and make it fun! Post a pic so we can see which Rodeo you picked.

I’m looking to get a garden party 36 (likely pre-loved) to use as a work bag.

After searching through old threads and going through a gazillion images on Google, I still don’t know if the 36 size comes lined and with an inner pocket. I think read a post where someone said an all leather one did not have a inner pocket.

Most of the pictures that I came across showed an inner pocket and a lined interior for the all leather version. Whereas the canvas (with leather handle) version came unlined and did not have an inner pocket. Is this the case for all garden party bags in size 36?

Do they make all leather versions in 36 without an inner pocket? Without lining?

There seems to be a lot more info/pictures for the all leather version. Hope someone can shed some light on my confusion... TIA!

That's correct. For the 36, the all-leather version has a inner pocket and the canvas with leather trim does not.

Hi Ladies, I am in desperate need of a new tote for daily use. After spending a considerable amount of time perusing my options, I decided that a "trench" Garden Party 36, made of Epsom or Negonda leather, is the way to go. My problem is that I am having a hell of time determining whether my "perfect" tote is or will be available for purchase in the future. I visited my local Hermes store in Orange County, CA, and also reached out to Hermes customer service via email. Neither in-person nor electronic communication offered clarity on merchandise availability. I am not interested in purchasing used/consignment items or "settling" on a different color or less durable leather. Any Hermes shopping tips, SA referrals, or advice on locating my "dream" tote would be greatly appreciated. Obviously, this would be my first Hermes handbag purchase and I am completely clueless. Thanks so much.

If it gives you any hope, I saw a trench GP36 last month at my home store (H Meatpacking). It was Negonda. Great bag! Almost took it home but since I didn’t maybe you can!

I was able to ask my SA to locate one for me a while ago in the 30cm. Why not ask a SA at your local boutique to do the same? They can easily see on their iPad as my SA showed me and can do a store transfer.

Your suggestion is reasonable and appreciated. I am not sure what the deal is with the South Coast Plaza Hermes store. The SA seemed to think that inventory checks are not part of his job description. I was informed by an online customer service representative that SAs will not perform inventory checks over the phone. I don't know if this is typical of Hermes customer service or if I bring out the worst in Hermes customer service employees. Spending 4K on a handbag shouldn't be this difficult.

When I was looking for my GP 36, I stalked the website relentlessly until I found the perfect color, I wanted Rouge originally, but I ended up with Raisin, and I do not regret it. I suspect they will be posting the new spring colors soon, and you will find what you are looking for. Unfortunately, you would have to check the website daily but do not give up hope. Good Luck, let us know if you found your bag.

I'd like to get Beige De Weimar

Hi, Beige de Weimar was an AW'19 colour, so is likely to still be in fairly regular circulation and production. Stores decide what to order for their store about 6 months before the season kicks off, so it's hard to know what you may find in any particular location. The best thing to do is to head into your closest location and ask. If it's not something they ordered/have in stock/are expecting, they may be able to locate a bag from another store and transfer it in for you.
Good luck!
