Fabulous!

You should post this on the camp thread to, love the purple on purple

Is that the thread that references different colors and styles? I did see a post on this bag there if that is the case, but I can tell you the pictures don't capture the real color of this bag, it appears lighter in the reference post. This bag is a dark, muted hint of grey purple. Also for those people on the fence about GP 30 vs. 36, my advice would be to get both if you can because they are different bags, in my opinion. I'm a bit of a purple nut, my bedroom is painted the same color as the bag.

I am very happy with my bag and the color and I hope you enjoy yours as well. I am using my GP36 as my main bag and I also have the GP 30 in black which I love. Owning the GP 30 prompted me to buy the 36cm.
Thank you. I purchased the colour raisin. The Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 was too small for my needs so I knew the GP 30 wouldn’t quite be large enough. I’m disappointed in the quality of Vuitton and Balenciaga, so I am hoping Hermes has higher quality control. Hence this first purchase from this brand. Fingers and toes crossed.

I am sorry I realized that you said you purchased the Raisin. I sold several of my LV bags to finance the GP 36. I am getting older, and I wanted a bag that is more understated and high quality. I plan to buy fewer bags but of higher quality. I can say for sure out of the two of my GP bags, the quality of the Raisin 36 is superior. I can see the leather grain in the Raisin more than the black GP, and it is beautiful. I feel that both bags are of excellent quality that also prompted me to buy another GP. I don't find the bag too heavy, and I do wear it on my shoulder, it is a tight fit but not uncomfortable to me. I don't think you can go wrong with Hermes quality. Please post a pic of your bag. Enjoy your bag. I am happy for you.

Thank you very much. I don’t tend to wear bags on my shoulders generally due to having very sloped shoulders so no bag will stay on them, so I tend to hand/arm carry my bags or if I wish to be hands free I use my soft lambskin mini backpack. I find cross body styles aggravate a back injury I have. A lot of people say backpacks are only for college students and school children but I won’t be in pain for the name of fashion. I’m only 5ft so look quite childlike anyway. :) I must say I’m 33 and already wanting to sell my logo bags. I feel embarrassed carting them now, where I once did not. I’ve found myself gravitating towards the longchamp cuir bags recently for their soft leather and slouch too. They’re a understated brand that has impressed me with quality. I own 12 bags from that brand and not had a single issue in over 3 years of major use. Enjoy your bag.

I almost twice your age and 5 feet 1 inch and I love both GP sizes. The quality is the best I have ever seen.
