Thank you for weighing in! From what I gathered from you lovely ladies who replied, besides the proportion of the bag on me, it also depends on whether I want to use it more as a tote or as a handbag :) which is a really great point! Thanks so much guys!

Thanks to all the lovely ladies who shared your thoughts with me on the size of the GP! I’m not sure if I should be posting it here as I didn’t get an all leather one in the end [emoji28] I went with a GP36 since I wanted to use it as a tote and got one in canvas for now since I reckon it will be lighter. And also leaving the option open to getting an all leather one in size 30 next time [emoji87] sharing some photos for size reference!

Congrats — it looks great on you! I think the black on black canvas GP looks really sharp. And don’t worry — lots of people have posted canvas GPs on this thread as well — I think the title of the thread is that way because it was started when the all-leather version first debuted. I’ll be interested to hear how you find this size and if you end up getting a 30 as well!

ETA: what organizer are you using? I like the zipper pocket on the side.

Hello! I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong thread.
I am now loving the casual vibe of GP especially the vintage kind. Been searching online and noticed a GP with canvas NOT leather base. I see most GP's have leather base, did Hermes ever make GP's with canvas base?

GP36 looks great in darker colors. Wise choice.

Thank you etoile de mer for your response! There is one I see online but do not have enough pics posted for acceptable authentication. I'm loving this bag but the unique canvas base has me worried! I asked for additional pics. Still waiting...I was hoping there's a vintage GP afficionado here who's familiar with its attributes?
