I love the GP, but have found the 30 is too small and the 36 a tad large. Wish so much there was a size in between.

Couldn't agree more. 36 is way too heavy and easily bump into others in the streets and elevators, so I still prefer 30.
I love it which is more casual and understated than B/K/C, which I love to use in casual occasions.

I'm very tempted to add a tote to my wishlist. I'm leaning towards a GP30, but wonder if it would look too small.
I carry very little- fabric zip coin purse, fabric case w/ reading glasses, keys, wipes and EPI Pen. Maybe an occasional iPad mini.
I am 5'10" and (in a past life thin) middle aged healthy. :whut:
Based on your experience having one, would it look like a child's tote for crayons, round-nosed scissors and glue sticks on my frame? Especially because of the rounded corners on the bag. I see photos of people with the 30 and it looks sooooooo good on them! Casual, but handheld, no hardware- squishy Birkin-ish.
I feel the 36 is too big for my needs. As for color, I'm looking at black or a very dark blue.

I don't have a GP30 (yet), but maybe I can give you an opinion: I am almost your size (5'8') and a US size 4. i recently tried on the GP30, and like you I carry very little in my bag (small wallet, phone, pen, tiny notebook, key). I think it looked very good on me, not like a preschool bag but just clean and in a way sophisticated due to the small size and the room it had left.
I used to carry big bags but over the years have moved on to smaller ones, and for me the GP30 is the perfect size. However it loses its allure when filled to the brim, so if you occasionaly overload it I would tend to a different bag. Hth.

Thank you for your response.
You carry fewer items than I do.
I agree, as long as it doesn't look stuffed, the look is really clean and sophisticated.
I forgot to mention my cellphone!
The only time I would include an iPad mini is when I sit in my car at pick-up, waiting for my daughter to exit her school. Mom has to do something while waiting, so why not investigate Purseblog/Purseforum. ;)

I like the thought of a small tote on those kinds of days. Also, for quick grocery store or mall runs. All day shopping might be a Halzan kinda day.

No worries! It would look great on you!
I've never seen one ( in every body shape/build) carrying a 30 who doesn't look nice! It's a cute little thing but not a bit childish!

I'll take a photo a.s.a.p..
It's so cute, yet fits my mini iPad, sunglasses case and everything else I carry on a daily basis.
