I'd like to share the huge surprise DH gave me for my birthday earlier in July... :presents:
GP 30 in Gris Tourterelle Vache Country leather! :yahoo: I'm so happy to join the club!

Btw, I read here that Vache Country leather is sturdy, and my lovely SA told me "no water on leather", but I'd really appreciate your comments on your experience with Vache Country leather, please. TIA! :flowers:

Congrats! I'm your twin on this bag. I've used it almost every day since January and it's holding up beautifully ... I have had no issues with water , it's been in light rain

Does anyone use this bag as a tote for work? I am looking to buy a new work bag that can hold a pair of heels along with all my other random stuff (doesn't need to hold files or a computer). I've heard that this bag gets very heavy when loaded up though. Any feedback on this point? Thanks!

It is not a light bag by all means since Hermes uses quality leather but if you just want the extra room for a pair of heels and other random stuff, the weight is bearable no matter it is in Epsom or Country leather. For Epsom you may have to be worried about the corners though.

Can garden party 36 be used as a shoulder bag?

I can but it's really meant to be a hand carry or crook of the arm bag. The 36 is wide and if you are Petite it's just not that comfortable like a regular tote. I don't think I would be able to put this over my shoulder during the winter wearing a puffy
Jacket. The strap drop I think is only six inches.

I only carry mine on the shoulder when I need to be handsfree for a moment. The straps are not of ideal length and I find the base of the bag quite wide so it tends to bump into things/people when I carry on shoulder. [emoji5]
Thanks for replying. Would GP30 be better then?
I do. But I think it is meant as a crook of the arm bag.
Can the GP 30 be used as a shoulder bag?
