Hi all! My SA showed me a Blue Electric GP30 today and though I rejected it on the spot, I'm having second thoughts right now mainly cos I absolutely love BE [emoji170] But at the same time I feel a GP30 looks too small on my 5 ft 5 and curvy frame [emoji24] It looks so cute and lovely on others but somehow it just didn't seem to work on me when I tried it on.

After getting home, I just can't stop thinking about that BE GP30 and it's driving me nuts [emoji28] Should I just bite the bullet and get it or should I ask my SA to find a BE GP36 instead? However I've never considered GP36 before as I read that it's much heavier and that's a bit of a turn off for me since I carry quite a far bit on a daily basis. Help please!

I didn't realize BE was already showing up in boutiques! It's a fabulous color, but if you think the 30 is too small for you, definitely ask your SA to try and locate a 36cm for you. More should be coming to boutiques soon!

I love BE and a GP36. I have a GP36 in Negonda and I don't consider it heavy (and I fill it up). I think it depends on what leather it is and how much weight you are comfortable with carrying. Epsom is even lighter for instance. I have tried on a GP30 too before and it's really a different look than the GP36. I usually care about function more than anything else. Maybe you could go back and try it again. If it was me I would take that bag right away, but it's such an individual decision.

I'm about the same height as you and I had the same feeling about the GP 30 -- it looks so cute on others, but when I tried it on, I felt like I was carrying a child-size bag. It's weird because I have other bags that are smaller (e.g., Chanel's) but for some reason, the GP 30 just doesn't work on me. I have a few 36s and it's a great size. I feel mine get heavy but it's mostly because I load them up -- it's not uncommon for me to have a notebook, water bottle and umbrella in there in addition to my regular, small stuff (wallet or calvi, small LV pouch, Kleenex, hand lotion, keys, phone). When I don't put much stuff in it, I don't find it heavy, and the fact that I can carry it on my shoulder (not possible with the 30) is a big plus. HTH.

I've both sizes and ended up keeping only the 36cm. It is not as heavy if you don't load the bag and I think the items that I have covered the basis needs when I'm out (car key, an iPhone, tissues, small cosmetic bag, calvi and lotion). There is a big difference between the 30 and 36. Had they make the 30cm a little deeper, it would work better since I feel like a lot of things are falling out when I use the 30. I can't stuff it with a CSGM without some of it showing. The 36cm is a great size.

I agree. I've always wished they made a 32, with a strap!

@luckylove, @westcoastgal, @catsinthebag, @chkpfbeliever, thank you all for helping! After thinking through it thoroughly, I concluded the only reason why I would consider that GP30 was cos it's BE but I know I would eventually regret it and not use it all. I guess I will ask my SA to help me find a GP36 instead, at least I know it fits my frame better and it's a plus to go over the shoulders!

By the way, my usual load is small umbrella, makeup pouch, 2 Calvi, Compact Bearn, Bastia, water bottle, iPad mini and an additional book if I feel my shoulders won't break lol, so GP36 should be able to fit all of these? Does anyone know if BE comes in Negonda only, or in Epsom too?

I don't know the size of your makeup pouch, but I think that should all fit in a 36. Also, you can unsnap the sides if you need to create more room. I've actually carried a bottle of wine in mine!

I don't know if BE comes in Epsom. I'm still getting used to the fact that BE is available again in a variety of bags, and trying to decide which model I want a BE bag in! GP, Evelyne, etc .... decisions! :p

The GP36 should be able to fit all of that, yes.
(I don't know about the leathers BE comes in in the GP, but I'm going to look out for one now!)

Lol! Yes, I was actually quite shocked to see BE in store already, I just hope it will come in Epsom. By the way, BE Evelyne sounds awesome too [emoji85]
