Yay! Thank you for the reply! So happy to hear that! I'll try to be patient and wait for my perfect combo then. And I agree for myself I feel the 30 would be out of proportions and seem childish.

I'm having the same dilemma (30 vs 36). The nearest Hermes store is two states away so trying a bag on isn't an option for me. The few videos on YouTube that show either size GP - particularly the 30 - haven't been especially helpful. I love seeing the pictures of all the GPs in various settings, but wish more modeling shots were posted. I have a Chanel GST, which I love. Can anyone tell me how the GP 36 compares? And how the 30 compares to the Neverfull PM?

Gold black yes h in house colours
You just got to do diligence check for stocks
30 only hand carry on
36 can shoulder and carry
Something u ought consider for season and usage

hi there. I don't know where you shop but on German/EU Hermes I mostly see the 36 size - I don't think they ever had the 30 on there but then I don't check that often. I am 5'2 and have a 36 and had a 30 (when I wasn't curvy) and still felt that the 30 is too small for me, so I get it. the plus of the MM size is that I can fit it on my shoulder

I don't have a GST or a Neverfull, but I think the GP 36 is comparable to the Neveffull MM. But they are very different bags, as the Neverfull is comparatively unstructured and (I think) goes over the shoulder more easily than the GP.

If you don't live close to a store, you could try ordering online from Hermes.com. Unlike the boutiques, you can return things online for a refund instead of just store credit.

Good idea, thanks. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a size in between the 30 & 36? I'd certainly go for it.

I've got such dilemma too, and struggled a bit. I've got both 30 and 36 .... in the past. They look great on all body builds and heights IMO. Yet, if you need to carry on shoulder or put documents inside the bag, you gotta take 36, 30 is really out of the question.

I would like to share my personal experience with you. GP 36 carries a lot, but it slipped from my shoulder frequently which drove me crazy ,and was really heavy. GP 30 surprisingly carries a lot. GP36 kept bumping into others in the streets and elevators, and I had to bring an extra clutch or handbag with it if I got events after work. Eventually I let it go, I use my GP 30 a lot at work, it works well even with dinner events after work. If I have to carry documents, I simply carry it in my other hand. Hope it would help[emoji4] anyhow, both 30 and 36 are fabulous bags !

Thanks, Nana 9026. You have helped tremendously! I can easily relate to your experience with the 30 and 36 based on my Neverfull PM & MM so it puts it into perspective for me. And so begins the search for the right color GP 30 - lol!

I carry my GP36 on my shoulder a lot & have no problems with slipping. It may depend on your build. I do not bump into others either. It may be more of a concern if your uses are in a confined area.
I originally bought the bag as one of my first Hermes purchases and did not use till recently. To compare with a Chanel or LV I love the lines & understated appearance of the Garden Party. The others are nice too. All depends on your likes

Get 36. 36 is comparable to gst. 30 is small.... Like longchamp small bag.
