Yeah, but i have to admit that the base is also quite carefree...i rubbed the scratches out with my fingers and the clove that i got with the bag...and i put the bag on all grounds, if you know what i mean...fabulous...worth every Euro and cent

Your posts left me thinking and wondered that this clutch on chain works for strolls on the beach too!!! Where I live we are missing the beach, however there is a nice lake I can always walk around, and a beach holiday may happen soon. Thank you for sharing your pictures. [emoji253][emoji253]

I bought my medium in March of 2017, and sold it around July. I was on the fence about it, too. I was using it, but the chains were falling off my shoulder or getting tangled, my wrist was repeatedly scratched by the zipper, and the aged calfskin was really starting to get squishy looking over the base. It was a great bag because it held a lot of my stuff, but I was worried about how much I would like it in December, or January and forward. Then I got an offer for more than I paid for it because all the retailers were out of stock. I sold it without blinking an eye. Yes, I miss it sometimes because it was so different, fresh. But, I like my small flap bag.
Think about it. Use it. If you’re forcing yourself to use it or like it, think about it again. Give yourself time, and a break.
If you end up selling yours and regret it over a period of time (remember to give yourself some mourning time), the online consignment shops always have them.
Ditto. Love the style and vibe, but couldn’t stop checking my base every time I bumped the door jam or opened car door. It looked great, but I was becoming bag neurotic.
Ooooo u are so lucky to sell it for more than u buy it for. Now with more colours and combo - don’t think the market be as profitable. Mine also has scratches and dents.
I was actually still using it till I got my mini camera bag which I can foresee wearing more than my Gabrielle now that I have it. It is just easier. Guess I will have a little bit more to think.
Awwww. Keep us update on ur bag too. But I am glad I have someone on the same boat as me. I have to let go of the feeling I am letting a chanel go just because it is the bag to have. I have to make myself understand it doesn’t work for my lifestyle instead
Oooooo u just rub and it smooths out? I have a lot of scratches. And I think there is a part a minor part colour came out. I try rubbing with leather condition to smoothen it to no effect though.
Yes, i rubbed it and it smoothed out...
Well, one part was scratched and the colour came off, but my SA told me i could use a permanent marker and it did work...looks like brandnew and never scratched...
I was debating to use a black marker pen but wasn’t sure if it will work! Lol now I have the confidence for it

Also: my SA told me that many costumers are too afraid of everything. He said that people are afraid to take the bag in the rain... „i doesn‘t matter if the cow is getting wet in real life...the bag will survive the rain“, he said... so funny
