Question, how do the tweed Gabbies wear? Do you have to watch out for snagging? Is it difficult to clean?

I just got the Medium and am about your size. It fits all essentials that I carry. The small seems to limited to what you can carry.
It looks absolutely stunning on you! It works with your outfit as well. I know I'm late to the gamez but I have an opportunity to purchase the croc gabby, but the chains look a tad bulky on this version. Are they heavier than the original gabby? I've heard that they are. Also, on the bag I have an opportunity to buy, the chains are tangled up a bit. Is this a normal feature to the bag? I don't remember the original gabby looking that way?
Hi, I just recently purchased the Gabrielle Hobo in the size small and wondering if anyone can suggest how I should store in the bag? Upright or in its box laying flat? Also if I should put the chain inside the bag or on top on the zipper? Should I also spray on some leather repellent before using. Just hoping to maintain the bag well for as long as possible, thanks in advance!!!

I store mine upright in the dust bag and put the chains outside the bag laying on the bag laying on the shelf.

Hey there, how are your Gabrielles wearing when it comes to sagging and scratches on the base?
I got the small Gabrielle Hobo and got no problems with base . And I guess the sagging might be a problem with the medium size.
I have the medium Gabrielle and posted on another thread about my base. Here are the pictures. As background I have had this bag for about 1.5 years I think and have been using it more recently. I agree that the base is easy to scuff as the medium protrudes more from the body and it’s very firm so bumping into things can cause small scratches and dents. It’s not majorly obvious as you can see but I would say it is more delicate than I expected. In any case I really do love the bag and capacity and even use it to carry my small laptop in it. Because the base is so rigid I’m not worried about it losing its shape even with a laptop in it. As you can see my Gabrielle is the chevron quilted pattern with the aged calfskin so I cannot comment on the upper portion sagging like I have seen for the regular quilted pattern. So far mine seems the same structure wise on top from the first day I got it and I just store mine upright in my closet when not in use (probably should do it sideways really). I suspect the small size doesn’t scuff much at the base due to the fact it’ll likely sit closer to the body than the medium does.
