The So Black Hobo looks great!
And the base of the Gabrielle Hobo is not sensitive like the Gabrielle Backpack.
I got my Small Hobo Gabrielle for more than a year and it is scotch free.
What size ur planning to get?

I’m on the fence about getting a mini. (or is it a small gabrielle?) (the smallest) It looks really good on casual clothes and it’s really a statement piece, but worried that it might be limited in terms of how I can wear it like for example if it looks good on a dress, skirt etc. I honestly haven’t tried it in the boutique (don’t have one in my country)

IMO it is pretty small and should be considered as a dressy/evening bag. The girls that manage with a WOC or a mini for daytime use would probably be fine with it. I need the medium for a day bag, but I do appreciate that the small has a great look and is very pretty.

I find the small looks great worn with virtually everything and can be easily worn all the 12 different ways but doesn't look the greatest in some of them like the backpack style as its small. The biggest drawback is it doesn't hold very much at all. I also got a medium gabrielle and it holds MUCH more and it works in all the different styles but holds much better in the V and backpack because of the extra weight holding it down. I find the small falls off my shoulder sometimes worn in V style. The small is more dressy though....

I totally get what you mean! it looks really good with casual shirt and jeans! Have you tried wearing it with a dress though? thoughts please

I think it can go well with dresses and long skirts... perhaps not formal work wear imho. I tried this in the boutique and regretted not getting it. It was sold when I went back after a few days.[/QUOTE]
