Thanks for the photos everyone. I have to admit that I find the little people a bit creepy but I might need to get over that. I love this colorway.

The other giant silk with the ex Libris pattern that was posted yesterday looks a bit dull.

And I'm on the fence about cest la fete.

This might be a good season for my money tree.

I totally agree with you on all three, PbP....the graphic look of Cest la Fete is nice but the design creeps me out....

I happen to love Cest La Fete but the finesse styles were never for me. Love love love color.

I totally agree. The finesse makes the pattern disappear in all but a few exceptions. I will buy at least one gavroche in CLF though; I've yearned for this pattern for years and who knows when they will reissue it again. Anyway, the gavs are relatively inexpensive in H terms. Also, I know one is coming in orange but I forget what the printing color is but I think it is marron so it may work. I believe Bleu Indien is another color for the gavs, The design may stand out more on a light background [I hope]
