Same here. I am off to Siberia in a week and a half so was taking a csgm with me to act as a stylish scarf/cardigan/blanket etc ....but turns out it is even warm there!! *hopeless* [emoji21]It's ridiculous: my first autumn with H scarves and we are still having 30°C.

Re the bizarre color alterations on-line, I suspect that not only does Hermes want to complicate things for forgers, but by making it essential to see their merchandise in person, Hermes draws us into the boutiques and ensnares the unwary shopper into buying more than is intended! It's a deeeeep game.
ETA: All the generous souls who share their silks here are saving the rest of us money, in spite of the enablement factor. If I had to brave the boutique too often, I'd have to move into an orange box.
Same here! Last weekend a bought a loden coat (woolen felt like fabric, really warm). If I don't buy it now, it's gone, they sell fast. It's the same for boots and scarves.Hang in there! It will cool off.
I felt like an idiot trying on and purchasing a CSGM when it was close to 30C and 100% humidity.

Thank you all for your input.
I spent some days off at a city with an H (I live a bit far from the next stores), so I had a good look. From all I saw online none of this season made my heart jmp, but since I love everything water/ocean themed I wanted to take a look at chemins de corail, but as much as I like the pattern, it just does not work for me.
So I asked to browse the drawers and play a bit.
The Mors a la Connetable just jumped on me and felt as if it belonged to me. But then there were doubts - it matches the same things as my other CSGMs, it has that strange diagonal pattern (did not like them at h.com), too similar CWs...
But I went back the next day: I just could not resist...
And it is OK for many reasons:
1) This is my favourite blanket to snuggle up:

2) this is one of my favourite fashion shots (but I could never ever pull off a dress like this):

3) The colors are somewhat Bollywood-like, but the pattern has a baroque vibe, both things I like.
4) it matches a lot of my fall/winter wardrobe.
5) it matches my home grown pumpkin:

6) The colors are just wonderful: so many shades of purple and orange, put together so nicely!
7) It ties really cool: after a primary dislike of the diagonal pattern I love how versatile it is, "playtime with your scarf". It is like getting three shawls for the price of one

I had thought about getting C'est la Fete in the red until I saw it in the boutique. The colour was OK but didn't make my heart sing.
Oh can you show a pic of how you do that?Such beautiful vibrant colours. I agree that the diagonal line is a little off - putting online but actually works well in real life. I wore my csgm as a tunic the other night and it was fantastic with a different design on each side when it was worn.
Even better, I can give you the link to maitai's page, which is where I picked it up. Somebody even crossed the bar to comment on how good it looked! [emoji38] http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/2009/05/how-to-wear-your-cashmere-shawl-as.html?m=1Oh can you show a pic of how you do that?

Not sure if this has been posted yet. Caval d'or carre geant. Love this, but the colour looks nothing like the website photo IMO.![]()
It's an eye-catching and different cw, sophisticated.I find the darkest colour somewhat difficult to define. It's not a true black. Something between slategrey and navy. It has a lot of colurs pinks, lilac, pale terracotta and a etainlike grey.
