Electrique 90 x 90, my intro into the world of H scarves. (until now I enjoyed my mothers vintage H scarfs)
Please excuse the dust on the coat! (It is not winter around here, I pulled it out of the storage for the modeling pic)
The colour temperature is cooler than the colours actually are IRL.

I think it is a very cool design.
And the photos show the excellence H provides, silk perfection!

Love the colors!!

Plesse hell me decide: should I geht the mors a la connetable in purple-red-orange when I already have similar colored csgm (it would be my third csgm)
I just tried it on and like it a lot, but it does not fill a gap, it would compete with the others to acessorize the same things...
I hope i manage uploading a pic, first time posting from my phone...

Haven't been on this thread all that much and was reading back posts, HoneyLocks, I would definitely buy the mors a la connetable CW 06 and I am going to be your twin. It's exquisite and I love how it looks tied.

Let us know what you decided to do.:hugs:

We were both shopping it the same day. Wish we were near the same boutique .

Sorry it wasn't for you, but thrill of the chase is part of the fun, isn't it! On to the next dream scarf
Oh, that would have been fun!! I had seen the blue/yellow cw and the red/purple cw a few weeks ago and they both look good so I will probably go with one of those. I'm just hoping to see maybe a couple more cws before I decide. They're all so pretty!!

It depends how many shawls you have in your collection. If these are the colors that look best on you I don't see why you can't have a few that are similar. Blues and blue greens are my best colors so I have many scarves and shawls in these colors. Probably 40% of my collection. And I use them all.

To me, it is very different from your first CSGM, the CdeC. The central colors of the Sieste are somewhat similar.
But if these are colors you love and look great on you, the design itself is quite different from the other 2.
That says go ahead and buy it. On the other hand, if you are not sure you will wear it enough, I say wait. There will always be another scarf or shawl around the corner....

It's natural to be attracted to similar colours, I do the same thing. If they make you look great and work with perfectly with the majority of your wardrobe that's great and no problem. Take your time, think it over, if you see you your GM wardrobe growing to quite a few then a couple similar in colour (but so different in design) are not a big deal, but if you're keeping cashmeres to just a few then are you'll be cutting the ops of wearing the Sieste for the Mors then perhaps wait. Something else gorgeous will always come along, it's H.

I agree with papertiger 100%.
It depends on your approach to wardrobe and H. It is quite similar to the siesta, imho.

Thank you all for your input.
I spent some days off at a city with an H (I live a bit far from the next stores), so I had a good look. From all I saw online none of this season made my heart jmp, but since I love everything water/ocean themed I wanted to take a look at chemins de corail, but as much as I like the pattern, it just does not work for me.

So I asked to browse the drawers and play a bit.
The Mors a la Connetable just jumped on me and felt as if it belonged to me. But then there were doubts - it matches the same things as my other CSGMs, it has that strange diagonal pattern (did not like them at h.com), too similar CWs...
But I went back the next day: I just could not resist...
And it is OK for many reasons:
1) This is my favourite blanket to snuggle up:

2) this is one of my favourite fashion shots (but I could never ever pull off a dress like this):

3) The colors are somewhat Bollywood-like, but the pattern has a baroque vibe, both things I like.
4) it matches a lot of my fall/winter wardrobe.
5) it matches my home grown pumpkin:

6) The colors are just wonderful: so many shades of purple and orange, put together so nicely!
7) It ties really cool: after a primary dislike of the diagonal pattern I love how versatile it is, "playtime with your scarf". It is like getting three shawls for the price of one

Had the chance to run over to H and get this Versailles. I just love it! Did not think it was "me" and I waited a week since the first viewing. Fortunately they were able to find me one on hand. It can fold into interesting looks. Somehow it is quickly one of my favorites! (Perhaps I say this about every new scarf   )
Oh, you are so lucky!
In Vienna a scarf I liked but did not buy immediately was sold at the same day.

Wow, honey locks, that shawl looks fabulous on you, tied in all those different creative ways. I just know it is going to be a favorite. Plus, it's a terrific match with your pumpkin!!
