I bought this blue/teal cw of the Mors and also the 07 in the Dallet a couple of weeks ago. The Mors is amazing in real life, the electric blue details really zing and make my blue eyes pop!! These two are my first venture into the world of CSGMs so you can imagine my dismay when the first time I wore the Mors it snagged on a fingernail and got a long pull and loop. Hermès CS will not allow me to send it back for repair unless I go to my "local" store.....which is nowhere near me. Not impressive CS at all and has made me go off them a bit tbh. I was impressed though that I ordered at 11am and it came from Paris by noon the next day.
The Dallet is equally stunning. I would agree that "greige" describes it perfectly. I seem to have bought the last one (for now) online in the UK as it went off - screen after I placed my order and hasn't returned yet. I think it would suit most skintones as the base colour somehow manages to have warmth and coolness in it at the same time. I hummed and hawed for a while over whether or not to get it but am so happy that I did.
I have a big trip coming up in a few weeks where I need to keep luggage to a minimum and jewellery will be a no-no so am hoping to take these two babies along instead to brighten up my outfits (and keep me warm!).
So here are a few pics of my two, just to show the colours (I am no supermodel so please forgive the poses!!!!). I have put up two of the Dallet in 07 just to show how the coloured edge really makes a difference and gives it some va-va-voom.
By the way, when I was in Bordeaux buying the Mors I asked the SA if it is true that the cashmeres are finer this year, as I had read here. She said that the fabric is the same but that the finishing products that they use are different as some are no longer legal to use. Apparently this makes the fabric feel different.

You wear both very very beautifully and now you got me into trouble. I have the Dallet and now the mors starts running through my brains as well!!!
Thank you pourquoipas. The H site photos do not do this cw of the Mors justice. It is the perfect scarf to match with blue jeans and has a lot more depth to it than you see in the pic.
That's what occured to me!
I'm only considering if the mors in grey and blues or purple and red that doesn't appear on H.com in Europe yet isn't equally worthwhile.
But will they turn up??
That is always the big question, isn't it? I went twice to the Bordeaux shop for the Dallet but they had very little new season stock (the SAs were fabulous though). Determined to get a souvenir I bought the Mors and then got the Dallet online when I came back to the UK. I have always been puzzled as to why the USA always seems to get more colour choice than us.
My Mors does have grey through it too. I will see if I can get a decent pic of the brighter half for you.

Exactly, hardly any choices instore where I live so your pic would be very helpful indeed. The site is sometimes off on the colours.

These are the two that I bought and modeled. I kept the first- cw 05. Sent back the second cw 01. They are completely different. It's difficult to capture 05. To be honest I think the colors are somewhere between my photos and these photos. I think the lighting is making the photos here look a bit brighter than it is. It's not as dull as it looks on the website but it's certainly not a bright pop of color shawl. I hope that makes sense and doesn't offend anyone.
