I was at the BH boutique and asked for a specific colorway of au bout du Monde. They also said the same thing to me. They might not have ordered it. I was told they cut way back on scarf orders. I was really surprised given they are a major store in the US. Looks like this is happening across the board.

I wonder if they are doing this because they did not like having so many left over scarves at their BH sale in June...

All of the US stores are cutting back. Must be poor sales. It's not going to get any better if they have nothing in the stores to sell us. [emoji849]

It doesn't seem like it has really been this way with scarves I don't think, but certainly with leather goods many people will simply compromise and take something in a color or hardware that isn't first on the list because, with H, you never know if you'll actually ever be able to get what's first on your list! Maybe they feel that people will do this with the scarves as well? If they don't have your first choice of design, you'll just get something else instead?

I just received my Dans l'atelier de Robert Dallet CSGM in CW 07. Here are photos showing it with black and white tops. I can best describe the background as greige. I don't have any CSGMs in a comparable color, and it's a wonderful neutral, which I'm sure I'll wear frequently.
