Thank you! My watch is a vintage Lipp Geneva from 1965 which my husband found in Paris, for my birthday. I love the old chrono style watches - and especially love that it takes me less than 10 seconds to swap the strap out to match my outfit![]()
Hello again Double Twin...
I can't believe it! But I too have the twin black CDC HAC 32 ghw - how funny! Obviously we've got excellent taste! haha!
I should showcase these in the HAC threadI do love and use them both so much - and they seem to work across all seasons

It's the new Savannah Dance. Thank you Luvbolide.
Hello fellow scarfies.
I've been loving this thread and keenly following all the generous intel, reveals, surprises and of course, dilemmas!
Finally, I have something to contribute. I'd like to share a little story for those deliberating over the the Dallet CSGM.
I am Brunette with fair/medium complexion. I cannot wear creme, bronze, tan, gold, olive, ochre, mustard, bright orange, brick red or egg yellows.
Most light beiges look hideous and totally wash me out. Just as in JayJay77's earlier story, I too coveted and purchased the Couvertures et Tenues many moons ago... and the result was similar. It drained all the colour from my skin - total disaster - which was really really sad as I loved that shawl
Ever since it's first reveal, I have been become very twisty and crazy over this Dallet shawl - just like many of you lovely ladies! Primarily, because of the trims. I love white and it loves me, but mustard yellow is a big no-go zone. Beige is not great on me but I really really like red. Anyhow, with stock now in store and my head full of tried and tested colour theories, I headed down to H. I was so excited - I just knew that white Colourway 06 was going to be the most flattering on me of all four colourways offered. Well, when my SA brought out the shawl, my heart leapt - it truly was a dreamy creamy white - so pristine, so gorgeous. I closed my eyes and giddily cocooned myself within. I looked in the mirror and was, sadly...... aghast! Argh! I looked pale and insipid! Was it the lighting in the store? This was my dream colourway! Why wasn't it making my heart sing? No singing, no dancing... no nothing. Sadly, I knew that my dreamy creamy Dallet shawl was not coming home with me. I was at a total loss. My head was spinning in disbelief - I just couldn't put my finger on it, why didn't it work? Was it something about the tone (or the trim?). Devastated.
I looked at the other colour ways offered. I didn't want blue and I didn't want grey and... the beige... as much as I loved the red trim, I had already convinced myself that the beige wouldn't work. What to do? I am at Hermes right? Playtime! I had nothing to lose, so decided to give all the colours a whirl! Blue, then Grey... then Beige....
Woohoo! What a surprise! Colour way 07 in Beige was literally 'stunning'. Meaning that I was so stunned, I nearly fell over! I am sure my heart really did skip a beat that day. It was so flattering to my complexion and I felt so so chicIt was the perfectly perfect neutral that I thought I could never ever have! I was in shawl heaven. This beautiful tone of beige was not too yellow and not too grey, it was just right.. and that RED trim - DEVINE!
SOLD! Happy as Larry. And still am
I continue to wonder if, in fact, the colour of the trims are a significant factor in how well a shawl works on one's complexion. Something to muse over. Hope my little story has helped. Thanks for letting me share!
My much loved Dans l'atelier de Robert Dallet - Colourway 07 (with my Etoupe bag and a Rouge Casaque bracelet for colour reference).

My husband thinks this is hilarious! 9 years of reading this forum and only now do I find my long lost twin! Haha! It will be fun to see if anything else in our H closets are similar, great ideaNow how wonderful is that! You must be my long lost twin in the H universe haha. To own not just one identical bag but two as a set. (And I just noticed my typo, I meant to say they are my beloved work horse bags). Please post more pics of your items, we obviously have similar excellent taste and I would love to see more!

Such a beautiful way to wear your scarf! Can I ask you how you tied it?I just posted this scarf on SOTD thread but thought that I would also post it here as I don't think this CW has been shown yet either on this thread or online (corrected: it's now on U.S. H.com). I almost got the cw 12 with turquoise, yellow, coral, which reads a bit 70s color palette to me that I like, but then thought the periwinkle gray background on this one gives it a somewhat different vibe from other CWs. I wore it for the first time today and I'm loving it! It's a bit hard to capture that gray / light blue / lavender color, it changes with different lightings, but hope that this photo will still enable some and find me twins, triplets.
