I liked the photo of the short dark haired model wearing the two tone bandana that was posted a few weeks ago on the webpage. I think someone posted a photo here. It was just tied with a knot in front with one side red and the opposite blue. I'm thinking about getting it. It depends how much other trouble I get into.

I found the answer ... Compare the GM Cut & Legendes de L arbre 90cm from 2016AW - both have that bicolor thing going on , so a few LdA photos are helpful, with something akin to a cowboy knot - photos from h.com

OK, i do note how meticulously the folds are done - I could never be that careful but the bicolor diagonal look is striking, I love how the ends of the blue scarf are different colors. But, of course a bandana is smaller , ends are shorter so, you could not get that effect.
And Cheval Surpise Coloriage is also a good example , here in the small 45cm

Here the scarf is turned a bit to the side and you see the different color ends on the gavroche, esp the blue - cool
Thanks for the photos, MT... very helpful! I agree with you that the bicolor diagonal look is striking. I'm very tempted by this bandana, now that the site has finally gotten it in!
Model pic (showing someone without a swan neck, LOL!) if I do end up getting it.

Just guessing because I don't own a bi-colour but although the model is blessed with a swan's neck it looks like the line between the 2 colours should lengthen. Tied on the 2 corners that would make it appear mono it should appear similar to other bandanas. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious xxx
I hadn't thought of that, papertiger. Ya think? Something to lengthen my neck would be lovely!
And of course you're quite right, folded the other way you have two mono bandanas, one burgundy, the other navy, so a three-in-one. As you can see, I'm working very hard to rationalize this purchase! :graucho:

I'm thinking about getting it first, before I get into any other trouble! I figure a bandana is very nearly like a twilly in cost, so it shouldn't count towards the scarf budget. :giggle:

Thank you lovely bag! I think you will really like Hermes Electrique, I find I have been wearing it non-stop since I got it!! And to answer your question, I do order online...sometimes with very good luck and other times I return. Unfortunately, I do not live as close to a boutique as I would like, and my boutique doesn't always have a lot of stock in the designs I want to see, so online is how I must proceed. Although I would prefer to see IRL, online ordering can be returned for full refund vs. store credit if I am not happy with the colorway. HTH's!!
You were 100% right: Electrique is a fascinating design! Not only did I buy 1 for myself (brick-red, orange, violett and blue and just little white) but could not resist and bought a 2nd Electrique – for my sister and her blue eyes (blue, petrol, turquois, taupe, black and white). F/W 2016/17 season is a wonderful season, scarf-design wise.

Photos of the unboxed Electrique scarves will follow soon. I need to finish some work first, deadline is due soon. (I feel like having to earn the scarves, too early for rewarding myself. ;)

Just a tiny little off topic note: Browsing through the store's selection one unexpected beauty caught my eye: light petrol and grey - Cheval Fusion (2015) in turquois/light petrol. Although it is a expressive, modern design, the style as such looks classy. I was surprised, how beautiful Cheval Fusion looked when held close to my face, very flattering. Check! (I was surprised, how fast I made that decision, took me less than 2 minutes! SDIM0555.JPG

I am very lucky, to visit the store during an 1h long lunch break on a thursday afternoon. Nothing like a small about Evelyne and Togo leather.
Sorry for going slightly off topic, the excitement ...

I just posted this scarf on SOTD thread but thought that I would also post it here as I don't think this CW has been shown yet either on this thread or online (corrected: it's now on U.S. H.com). I almost got the cw 12 with turquoise, yellow, coral, which reads a bit 70s color palette to me that I like, but then thought the periwinkle gray background on this one gives it a somewhat different vibe from other CWs. I wore it for the first time today and I'm loving it! It's a bit hard to capture that gray / light blue / lavender color, it changes with different lightings, but hope that this photo will still enable some and find me twins, triplets.:angel::angel:
