Now about you, what color clothing do you love to wear? If you do wear lots of neutral classic colors, then you can't go wrong with either 03 or 04. For warmish weather if you prefer lighter color clothes, perhaps the 03 though. I can really see both 03 & 04 working with LOTS of clothes though!!!

TT, all good points too. I think the dash of mango orange will b great w your auburn hair color. The black, white, beige helps keep the electricity in check. The design reminds me a little bit of Matisse woodcut prints. Enjoy wearing your work of modern art!

Even ur spy pics r eye candy! I know that whatever u select, it will be smashingly gorgeous! (But dear artist lanit, which u r, if I were to b your shopping buddy, try to help u save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$...I would point out, that few orange scarves can match your orange mousseline GM...was it Les Champs des Courses? That much color on a sheer format, in that pattern is pure perfection. If I owned that masterpiece, I'd prolly never consider another scarf in orange. So the Bombay would add a new color to your incredible collection. I might tend towards that...as I wear my Champs mousse line in orange!!!!)

Not sure if this photo could be helpful, but I'll post it in anyway. It's one with lots of beige and a much softer orange compared to cw 03. The green is also slightly greener than the one on cw 03, which leans more towards mustard yellow / green.

And guess if I came home with Cheval Phoenix cw 02. :p

I haven't kept up w PF these years, so I wouldn't know...but dang .... has the stampede for that beige blk orange scarf started yet...(thx to ur modeling pic here?;) ! You look fabulously pizzazzy wow here. Both pix, but my fav is the first pic. Oh, I love, I like, l want (to look as great as u!). Hermes should hire u to style and model this scarf. Worldwide stampede will result!

Other reason...its just my opinion, others might differ on this. A scarf is an accent. I want a little color, design, pizzazzzzzzz. Not gaudy, but just a touch. Something to accent my wardrobe of plain neutrals; not something to blend into them. (Oh sorry all, I hope not hurt anyone's feelings w this...its just my op! I fully respect what works for you too.)

03 is that touch on u, w a touch of pizzazzzzy jazzy wow.
04 recedes, blends in, is subtle, but not that pizzazz.

But you should have seen another tPFer in this when we were in H = PIZZAZZZZZZ!!!!

It's a design that transforms in different cws, not just 'as is' but on different people. I know the same could be said of many H-designs but Au Bout du Monde typifies that trait.
I love the scarf design over all, and I love, love, love both of these cws, totally different moods. But when someone says they can't keep both and asks which looks better on, it's the mod shot that counts, and you summed up exactly what I felt seeing rk, the pizzazz stands out a mile.

Loving everyone's photos of the Fall scarves. Found more temptation on the French website - I think they are new for Fall - Jumping vintage silk 90 cm. I like the red = very minimalist but striking.
Also could someone educate me - what's the difference between "vintage silk" and the regular silk? Thank you!

You got it point there with the orange edge! I was initially very against the idea of orange edge. But tried on several times inside the boutique n still love it after each try. I guess that hint of orange really did work on this design[emoji4]

The vintage silk feels and behaves like an old and much loved scarf. Softer, more 'washed', fluid and (I find) creases less.

CW 03 (beige/orange/green) has more contrast, stark contrast of bright orange and beige and brown. Looks like a different scarf wearing them with different corners in the front. The most genius of design is the last look below, where you can accentuate the orange in the middle where the tie is. I didn't realize it until I made that knot and it dawned on me!

CW 04 (petrol/navy/etoupe) is more all over neutral, less contrast, blend of the petrol and navy color. Beautiful dark jewel tones (I feel like they are deep sapphire and emerald) colors around face. Except the plants corner, all three other corners look more or less the same though, almost all solid colors. No special effect with a different color tie on this one. Just the beautiful etoupe leaves.

Which one do you like more? Which one would I get most wear of out of the entire year in a warmish weather? Which one is a better throw-on and you are ready to go?

I need a lot persuasion on this one! Can only keep one... Thank you in advance!

Both of them look great on you. I tend to wear more reds, but my heart will go with blues. I admire more of my scarves than wear them. I just love the cw 04. But the cw03 looks gorgeous with the orange knot. That swayed me over to cw03!!!
