They did have 2 c/w of Grrrr though and it truly does tie WONDERFULLY! It took all my strength to control myself...I have other commitments that have come up so I must be good...no large formats for me this time. In fact it may just be a 1 [or 2] gavroche season for me [and a bandana which Boston also had NONE of yet]; the Balade en Berline gav was TDF...it was not really on my radar but I tried it on and it looks wonderful from every angle so I may "have" to get it along with CLF.
Also, Mumbai was on display and I tried that too....GORGEOUS but that fringe still worries me.

I agree about the fringe on Mumbai, and the design is not for me. But did you say Balade enBerline gavroche?? Why did I not know this?? Uh-oh

Just curious, is that the tag in the lower right? In this photo and the ones on H.com, the tag looks stitched on the scarf. Is this a change? It feels like someone has "moved my cheese". I really need to see this one in person ..... it seems to be growing on me.

CW 03 (beige/orange/green) has more contrast, stark contrast of bright orange and beige and brown. Looks like a different scarf wearing them with different corners in the front. The most genius of design is the last look below, where you can accentuate the orange in the middle where the tie is. I didn't realize it until I made that knot and it dawned on me!

CW 04 (petrol/navy/etoupe) is more all over neutral, less contrast, blend of the petrol and navy color. Beautiful dark jewel tones (I feel like they are deep sapphire and emerald) colors around face. Except the plants corner, all three other corners look more or less the same though, almost all solid colors. No special effect with a different color tie on this one. Just the beautiful etoupe leaves.

Which one do you like more? Which one would I get most wear of out of the entire year in a warmish weather? Which one is a better throw-on and you are ready to go?

I need a lot persuasion on this one! Can only keep one... Thank you in advance!

Dear RK,
Both r fab, for diff reasons. Based on pix, I'll go for 03. Something about it on u just make me keep looking again, just like a great artwork.

Other reason...its just my opinion, others might differ on this. A scarf is an accent. I want a little color, design, pizzazzzzzzz. Not gaudy, but just a touch. Something to accent my wardrobe of plain neutrals; not something to blend into them. (Oh sorry all, I hope not hurt anyone's feelings w this...its just my op! I fully respect what works for you too.)

03 is that touch on u, w a touch of pizzazzzzy jazzy wow.
04 recedes, blends in, is subtle, but not that pizzazz.

Fabulous on u! Yes, I hear ya on GM, but this really has perfect "scale" to your build, imo. I think, this is all about that contrast orange rolled edge. The great "eye" of our generation, Mr J-L Dumas, I think he said something like...just a touch of Hermes. You got just a touch, that H touch. Enjoy!
