Ok - so I finally have some Fall scarves!
Lalbhai - Rose Indien/Orange/Jaune - I think this is the same one Croisette posted earlier - so thank you Croissette - immediately fell in love when I saw it. It is a heavier silk - almost velvety, I think it will be perfect for Fall and Spring.
Entre Ciel et Mer Bandeau - Bleu/Blanc/Noir/ CW02 - so cute!
Springs - Blanc/Ciel/Marine Clair - CW 36 - I'm surprised how much I liked this in real life. A sleeper hit for me.
Flanerie a Versailles Rose Pale/Vert/Jaune CW09
Les Legendes de L'arbre - Ciel/Lagon/Ardoise CW08 - wasn't sure whether the colours were quite right for me but I've decided to keep it - I think its just a matter paring it with the right blouse/sweater and working on how to tie it. It really is a lovely design.
Couldn't resist a couple of quick mod shots.

Congrats and thank you for sharing, Canuck! I esp. love the classic Springs! in that cw. And so nice to be twins on the Lalbhai.

I'm debating a purchase of a Lalbhai GM after seeing a couple of cws earlier in the week, I was told by a SA they are hand screened. I'm concerned that may not be the case after your post, could you expand?
The scarves larger than 90cm in silk and all cashmere are hand screened, there is not a machine process as far as I'm aware to do such large format printing.

In my opinion H has found a wonderful balance of merging technology with their traditional methods. New silk techniques ensure colors don't run or fade which is a great benefit. Not every company uses technology to cut corners, if they no longer hand screen I don't think it would detract from the scarf.

About screened vs ink jet printing, many of the reissues are no longer screened the way they used to be. Hermes has always been quiet about that, to point of letting everyone be blissfully thinking the printing process has not changed. I doubt an SA would know for certain how a design is made.
An obvious difference is the addition of colors in the backgrounds, all that remix stuff, color blocks. That hides the fact that the design itself printed quite differently - fewer screens/colors.
One possibility: new issues have less shades of gold (for ex) in the gold hardware. The result is more comic book / graphic looking than the original printing due to lack of color nuances.
Another possibility is the use of a finesse style - pen & ink line drawing designs which are testament to the fewer screen trend. The tattoo series , the bandanna, this seasons legendes de l arbre are examples, C est la Fete CS scarf.
Ink jet printing is yet another possibility. I think all (most) of the 70s, maxi twillies etc are done that way. Maybe not the twill 90s. Could not say about the 140s. My silk 140s certainly look to have been inkjet printed.
How can you tell? An experienced eye can tell the difference. The easiest way is to put two scarves (new & old) alongside one another and compare some detailed sections. Are they identical ? Does the new designs look blurry ? less crisp ? Those are signs of ink jet printing. Count the colors - fewer means elimination of screens.

Just posting a couple of my new acquisitions. Like @rainneday, I'm having a little difficulty showing the true colour of Au Bout du Monde cw04, so have included my colvert B for reference & to try & tempt @Pocketbook Pup (I hope I've got the colvert fan right!).
Also yesterday's sole purchase at FSH (not a huge amount of new season there yet), Hermès Electrique cw08 brique/orange/prune.

WOW CanuckBagLover, you chose well!! That is the cw of Lalbhai that I'm waiting for! I had no idea it was on our site, or I would have grabbed it! I have three cws of the last issue of Lalbhai, which I believe was deemed to be a summer silk. I'm really interested to feel the difference in the weight of this one. And love all the blues you chose too! Enjoy them!!
Thanks hclubfan - I have one summer silk of the Lalbhai and it is definitely lighter than the current Fall version that is being offered. But for me this silk while heavier, was not unwieldly and felt very luxurious, its not stiff. Probably couldn't wear it in summer but I think it would be fine for Fall and Spring. Hopefully the CW will pop back up again or maybe be available in store. I noticed that a lot of the Spring 2016 scarves and shawls mysteriously appeared on the Canadian website in this past month or so, some I hadn't previously seen on line previously. Anyways, hope you bring one home!
