That sounds great, especially mors. Cheval is amazing, but I'm having trouble with 140 silks.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Kachinas and if the gold on the dark cw of Zenobie doesn't wash me out, that one might make the list. From 90s thinking about that landscape painting one, need to see how it ties.
Still debating about couple of 90s from the spring collection [emoji15]. Did you get anything besides the flamingo party?
Thanks for sharing!

I'm going to try Zenobie too. I'm just not sure about the design or the colors. I'll pm you about what I chose from spring.

Ok - so I finally have some Fall scarves!
Lalbhai - Rose Indien/Orange/Jaune - I think this is the same one Croisette posted earlier - so thank you Croissette - immediately fell in love when I saw it. It is a heavier silk - almost velvety, I think it will be perfect for Fall and Spring.
Entre Ciel et Mer Bandeau - Bleu/Blanc/Noir/ CW02 - so cute!
Springs - Blanc/Ciel/Marine Clair - CW 36 - I'm surprised how much I liked this in real life. A sleeper hit for me.
Flanerie a Versailles Rose Pale/Vert/Jaune CW09
Les Legendes de L'arbre - Ciel/Lagon/Ardoise CW08 - wasn't sure whether the colours were quite right for me but I've decided to keep it - I think its just a matter paring it with the right blouse/sweater and working on how to tie it. It really is a lovely design.
Couldn't resist a couple of quick mod shots.

Stunning choices!! Love Springs on you, it's making me re-consider this print. I saw it in the store, but didn't try it on.
I saw that cw of Lalbhai on the H site, wondered if you bought it! So glad it went to a great home!

Can't wait to see the cw you bought OKComputer!! When I was in the Toronto store last week, they had 2-3 cws of Lalbhais, but I guess they sold them already! They had a light blue cw, as well as the darker blue that was recently posted in this thread. Perhaps check the Canadian H.com site because I believe I saw some cws there yesterday. Happy hunting!

No way! I asked my SA to tell me when Lalbhai comes in and I didn't get a message from her. Grrr.
I saw the cws on H site, the purple looks gorgeous. But waiting for more cws to come out before picking one!
The thrill of the hunt is oh so exhilarating!!

Thanks so much for sharing, dear CBL!

Springs is a lovely classic - I'm intrigued by this CW and the dark red as well
Do you by any chance have a pic of Versailles? It's the design I'm most interested in so far
Still on the fence on Legendes de l'Arbre despite being a big Faivre fan - it looks great on you in the modeling pic though!

Lovely choices

I have a slight dilemma- I bought 2 CWs of the CSGM C'est la Fete and I think I might be leaning toward returning one (the khaki/noir/noir CW). I do like the muted and subtle way they applied the design, and I'm definitely keeping the blue one as blue is a staple in my wardrobe. But the poor khaki one has sat inside its box since I got it home and took photos of it, and I'm not sure it'll get into my regular rotation in the fall due to the color. So hard to tell because it's too warm to even think about wearing a CSGM right now!

Question for the fellow scarf-obsessed: am I crazy if I return it? It seems like it would be likely to sell out so if I change my mind and want it later I wouldn't be able to get it.

Honest opinion: I don't think it's going to be as popular as I thought. I'm hearing more negative comments than positive. I thought I would end up with multiples but I might not buy any. For me it's not just that it's an etching, they also left out the beautiful border. As a general principle of you don't love it don't keep it. If I bought one it would be the blue that you bought.

I would agree with this. Had they released it as a regular design, not the etching I think it would be a record sell out but due to the etching style I don't think it's going to be a hit with all the fans of CLF. It's a cool design as an etching but if you loved the original... I would return the kaki and see what else strikes you in that color family. There are a lot of natural, oatmeal, camel shades in the shawls this season. Think colors that match with Trench!

I remember those days ! Do show us your first again , the first edition Kachinas are like hens teeth now.
The first cashmere shawl was such a big step [ mine was a black La Femme] but amazing how much easier it gets with practice !!

Frou Frou, you are so right about the first CSGM being a big purchase - mine was the black Tohu Bohu and I was so freaked out about my first that I didn't even take the aqua one which was the same season. What a fool I was!! Of course, after years of searching I ended up paying three times for the aqua, which is one of the few scarves that I think of as a grail for me! Turns out CSGMs are perfect for almost year round where I love and I get a lot of wear and joy from my collection of them! Live and learn, I guess!!

I wondered if you scarf experts could tell me if this reissue of Mythiques et Métamorphoses is a spring or fall scarf collection. The background is gris cendré. I must be an Annie Faivre addict, it was instant love in this cwImageUploadedByPurseForum1468354573.943057.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1468354585.974982.jpg
Another interesting find is this twilly in black but it's not a bargain because of the embroidering, I'll probably skip this one.

Last a fall shawl I felt I needed, the gold is not so prominent when I tie it or leave it untied. The cw works so well with blue and browns! I have no experience with cashmire GM I'm a bit worried about pilling, at this pricetag I hope it stays beautiful quite some years ..ImageUploadedByPurseForum1468354887.449158.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1468354898.967593.jpg
I'm waiting to see the Dallet 90 cm in beige for a beautiful neutral. I wouldn't take the risk of another cashmire/silk without further knowledge on durability.
Before I closed my wishlist based on what's public on Hermès com I picked one last spring scarf le marché de Zambèze enabled by MaiTai's picturebook, if I don't wear it [emoji28] I can still frame this beauty[emoji23]ImageUploadedByPurseForum1468355704.719869.jpg

I also love the first issue Lalbhai plume silk from 2010/11. They are so soft and airy, like a mousseline version of twill silk. Looks and feels luxurious. Even the later versions like Tapis Persans don't have the same quality. Something about Lalbhai, that I believe was discussed here before, somewhere in the forum. And, for sure the old ones were still hand screened, not sure about the current issue.
wow I had no idea they were hand screened!
