Well, I completely agree. I live hours away from the nearest store, so purchase on line a lot I rely on PF members to post their treasures, so I can get a better look. Long story short, we will be twins as soon as the courier arrives. Thanks again!

Thanks for posting the Grrr colorways! I really like this scarf but not sure I love it enough to pay over $700 for it. hmmm.
I do have to admit I don't care for CLF in 140 CSGM at all! At least not in the c/w shown; you cannot even see the beautiful design. This is one of H's more iconic patterns in recent years and it is filled with subtle details. I feel that they ruined it with this rendition. Hopefully the silk gavs came out better!

I have no knowledge about a price increase or lack thereof, however this is not the first time mens' scarves are showing up for more. The SS16 100cm cotton/silks [like Typograffiti] are $425 rather than the older ones at $410 [like Glitch].l Maybe H thinks men are less likely to notice if not all patterns are the same price? haha

I agree completely. Cest la fete is off my list. It's a very short list this season. I suppose that's a good thing.

Hi. I'm waiting to see the mors cashmeres in three colors to choose- 01 and 05 both variations of blue- and the rouge h purple one. The cheval Phoenix large silk in 05 blue. And one or two gavroches. Anything else would have to surprise me in store which of course is a possibility. But there isn't much that is tempting me so far this season. [emoji15]

I agree about the CLF shawls. SUCH a disappointment. Let me know the minute you see a gavroche! As you know, at Madison they don't even think there is any such thing. Love your crack about pricing and men....probably true.

I just wanted to say that the Toronto Hermes store on Bloor St has received quite a few of the fall 2016 scarves. I scored a Dans l'atellier de Robert Dallet in cw 7. No Lalbhais have come in as yet. Zenobie in the 140cm is stunning!

My Psyche 140cm Silk from AW 2011 was sold as Twill Lavé / Washed Silk , as opposed to the SS 2011 edition Lalbhai which was sold as Summer Silk or Plume Silk .
The Psyche is very similar to the current 140cm Lalbhai which as has been said resembles a 90cm carré in hand. I find it to be a lot of silk to handle and too warm for Summer yet not cosy for Winter.
The 140cm Dipdye from 2011 feels different again, velvety , drapey and soft .Easy to wear.

Thank you for posting this, frou frou. I was going to say that the Lalbhai feels EXACTLY like the Psyche but was afraid that no one would understand. The tag does not say twill lave but that's exactly how it feels.

There were 2 Lalbhais on the Hermes Canada website - I managed to get one - so you might want to check the website to see what they have. They had a few other scarves on the website which I ordered and literally just arrived! Will try to post some pictures later. But this sounds promising - will have to make a trip to the store! Thanks for the update!

Can't wait to see the cw you bought OKComputer!! When I was in the Toronto store last week, they had 2-3 cws of Lalbhais, but I guess they sold them already! They had a light blue cw, as well as the darker blue that was recently posted in this thread. Perhaps check the Canadian H.com site because I believe I saw some cws there yesterday. Happy hunting!

Ok - so I finally have some Fall scarves!
Lalbhai - Rose Indien/Orange/Jaune - I think this is the same one Croisette posted earlier - so thank you Croissette - immediately fell in love when I saw it. It is a heavier silk - almost velvety, I think it will be perfect for Fall and Spring.
Entre Ciel et Mer Bandeau - Bleu/Blanc/Noir/ CW02 - so cute!
Springs - Blanc/Ciel/Marine Clair - CW 36 - I'm surprised how much I liked this in real life. A sleeper hit for me.
Flanerie a Versailles Rose Pale/Vert/Jaune CW09
Les Legendes de L'arbre - Ciel/Lagon/Ardoise CW08 - wasn't sure whether the colours were quite right for me but I've decided to keep it - I think its just a matter paring it with the right blouse/sweater and working on how to tie it. It really is a lovely design.

That sounds great, especially mors. Cheval is amazing, but I'm having trouble with 140 silks.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Kachinas and if the gold on the dark cw of Zenobie doesn't wash me out, that one might make the list. From 90s thinking about that landscape painting one, need to see how it ties.
Still debating about couple of 90s from the spring collection [emoji15]. Did you get anything besides the flamingo party?
