Thank you so much eternallove4bag...you are so kind!

Oh thank you hopingoneday...I usually wear a primarily black/neutral wardrobe and add color with my scarves. The scarves I own are primarily bright pink, purple, blue and red with some limited green. So this one is bit of a departure for me!
Honestly Bova, I just went back and took another look at the photos you posted. That blue is so incredibly vibrant that despite the darker overall palette of the scarf, I don't think anyone would call it somber! It is stunning and looks really rich. I love it. If you decided to part with it I think I would be the first in line, LOL!

Oh thank you so much perfumegirl...I would love to see a modeling shot!

So wonderful to have your input bostonjetset! I am honored to be your twin, and would love to see some modeling shots of you wearing your Sieste. I do agree that this and all of the CW's of Sieste will be the future holy grails. In the meantime we need to just wear them and enjoy right?! :hugs:

Agreed pbp:tup:

I agree; wearing and enjoying these works of art are the primary reason for collecting them!

I posted a mod-shot a few pages back [post #5777] whilst at the MFA on Dec 5. Here is the link.

Dear cherryblossom! You're so sweet to post red cw 11 worn... Well, :thinkin:I think I am leaning towards the blue cw 14::graucho: since I know how it looks on me, it is available, and I just can't muster up the energy to seek and plead for red. But I have to know...which cw do you prefer?

If you would like to private message my, I have seen the red 11 in my local store today. I could probably lead you to someone who could help. Even though I am normally a lover of all thimgs blue, I personally prefer the red in this case. Good luck.

Thank you again hopingoneday, I will let you know if I decide to re-home it! ;)

Oh thank you bostonjetset, I just looked back...you look so handsome! In fact it looks like you are wearing a charcoal gray sweater...one of the colors my SA said would look really nice with this CW of Sieste, and I totally agree! I think I will go in a different direction today, and will take lanit's advice and try it with a white or cream colored top :smile1:

Thank you my dear!
I think Lanit's idea of white/cream would also work wonderfully with this scarf. It will soften the effect somewhat. I like the dark mysteriousness of this colorway but I can see how some would want to soften it a bit. Please post mod shots when you try it out! I'm sure it will look fabulous, as you always do!

This recent discussion of the different Sieste colorways is very timely...I need my fellow tPF members advice!! I just bought Sieste in the "Bono" CW, and have already taken the store tag off and worn it once. Unfortunately I am feeling this is just a bit too far out of my comfort zone for me in terms of color. It is gorgeous and very elegant, but I am just not sure if it is right for me after all. My SA really liked it on me, as did my DD and DH. Hmmm....not sure whether to try and find a new loving home for this one or not...any advice will be greatly appreciated. Sorry about so many pictures, but I wanted to also give others a look at this CW tied in different ways. Thank you in advance dear silky friends :hugs:

I think this cw looks fantastic on you, Bova! I agree that it seems to be a more formal cw, but you wear it beautifully!

My dear Bova, please keep it and never let it go! It is so gorgeous and extraordinary in that cw
and will become a HG. It suits you well on black and goes with cream and white too.

You are so sweet bostonjetset...I will try it with white tomorrow actually and post then!

Thank you so much dear klynneann, I think the consensus is to keep it!

Thank you so much croisette...I am so glad to hear you like this CW as well. I think you are absolutely right about it becoming a HG!
