Well I thought I was done with Fall but then succumbed to temptation with this L'Ombre de Boulevard CSGM. The colours of this CW feel very Fall like to me. (Now I have to stop - the spring 2016 scarves will be here far too soon)! :smile1:

This is such a beautiful shawl CanuckBagLover [emoji7] I really wanted to see this CW! H website doesn't do this justice! Thank u for posting this[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

The secret is to order at the beginning of the "credit card month", right after getting the bill. Then you will have the refund for the scarf you sent back on the same bill as the original charge for the two. (I hope that makes sense, not a native speaker :shame:)

My money tree just started growing, so I am experienced at things like that. We do not have Marks and Spencer here, but H&M. That and various sales is where my stuff comes from. And it is always a pleasure to see how a scarf turns cheap clothes into an outfit.

Thanks very much for your advice. Yes, I too love the way that a lovely scarf can instantly transform my basic clothes into something special :D

HermesHopeI've PMd you about the way I shop on line from Hermès, see what you think.

I get the feeling that ,unlike hardened offenders like myself , you don't go much for buying on Ebay?
I can only say it's a load of fun, and a chance for acquiring lovely pieces for a fraction of the cost , granted not form recent collections .

My two pennyworth on your choices is that I found your delicate colouring was so lovely with the lilac Escales ,and so I think I would go for the Zenobie 01 which looks so superb tied as shown by Honeylocks.
Sieste is a wonderful design but I have tried it a few times and am on the fence because somehow it didn't suit my clothes style which is similar to your own .
It seems quite a standout piece that would look good with a sharp jacket ,whereas Zenobie is so soft and feminine and will be perfect against a lovely cashmere sweater.
Bet that DH of yours will love it too!

Yes, the Zènobie is still on my list! Thanks for your help on here and via the PMs :smile1:

I won't be able to check out the cws until I get to my computer, but did have a stray thought on the CI. It is a beautiful scarf, but many that I have seen have blanc matte, or a lovely metallic overlay in some sections. It is a fabulous way to highlight and enhance colors, but it can make the scarf stiffer to the touch. I don't know if this would make a difference to you, sometimes I really just want to feel the fabulous softness of H silk!

Just tossing this out for your consideration.

That is really helpful advice. The CI might just have been dropped from the list! Thank-you :smile1:

All are truly beautiful choices. This season provided us all with many fabulous options...one of the best seasons in years IMO.

Of the ones you are considering I like Sieste the best for the design but L'arbre du Vent may be the best choice for you as that pop of fuchsia really would look smashing on you, I think. Collections Imperiales is my 2nd favourite pattern of this season [so much so that bought the twilly just so I could own the pattern...I try to limit to one new 90 per season] but the colorway you are considering is quite dark. Zenobie is also lovely but I feel as if that pale pink right in the center is just asking to be soiled! haha. There is quite a lot of it on this scarf.

So my vote would be for L'Arbre du Vent for you :D

As a side note, since you live in England, you could likely call up one of the London stores and have it shipped to you in case the website does not have it in stock come December. Don't stress too much about "losing out" since these are still current season designs.

Ooh, I didn't know I could call a store. That is something to remember - thanks very much :smile1:

Hello Hermes Hope. You selected so many lovely choices. My vote is for L'Arbre du Vent in color way 12. I think that it is a strong contender for the most beautiful 90 of the season! I am sure you would love it.

Yes, it is moving up my list at the moment :smile1:

Do greens work well for you? You remind me of spring. Like a lilac bunch, pale soft colors. Would a delicate spring green work with your coloring?

Yes, pale green does work well. I have a twinset and a couple of t-shirts in that colour :smile1:

Also many thanks to anyone else who has answered and given help. Sorry if I have missed thanking you personally xxxx

I vote for Hippopolis because your love of history and archaeology. Next choice is L'Arbe agree with Croisette. The silkies here are amazing with their color memory. I have no clue about the number references lol. We love choosing silks though, so are delighted to help your find one HH! You look lovely in your photo dear.

Thank you so much, lanit. I am intrigued by Hippopolis, I must admit. There are only three colour ways left on the UK H.com, though, and I don't like any of them. Agree about the Arbre - think this is rising to first place! :smile1:

here we are, hope to be of some help
today I was dressed in this color, so it doesn't pop as much as with the black underneath...

This is so gorgeous!

I am in the US and calling a store to order is never an issue here except with leather goods [i.e. bags and SLGs]. They are more than willing to ship scarves and other items though. I assume it would be the same in England [although one never knows with H and their crazy inconsistencies! haha]

I own the Collectiones Imperiales in cw 16. I love it, it is beautiful. But the silk is indeed very stiff so gives a quite formal appearance and feel.

Hippopolis is gorgeous. But I am disappointed every time I try it on. Because to me, it looses it's impact, character and uniqueness as soon as I fold it or tie it. This is the only Hermes scarf I feel should not be worn at all but hung on the wall!
